Chapter One . ' Meeting Phoniex's Other Family . ' .

Peyton's point of view .

I slowly opened my eyes to wake up in a..bed ? When did we get here ? Wait .. I turned my head to see Richard and Adriana not in the same room as I . My bag was on a nightstand . I then looked around . The room walls were white with light gray patterns . The bed covers and sheets were white as well . I slowly got up . Man , my back hurt a lot . I stretched before I picked my bag up and opened the door of the bedroom . A hallway . I exited the bedroom .

' Oh , you're awake . ' A soft male voice said as I turned my head to it's left and saw a male , around my height . His eyes were a very light gray , along with his white , snowy hair which faded to his eye color . He wore a oversized hoodie which was white as well . He wore light blue colored ripped jeans .

' You knew I was in there ? ' I asked , concerned as if he were a stalker . He giggled and nodded .

' That is my bedroom . Your name is Peyton , right ? I'm Light Steve , you can call me Light if you wish . ' Light Steve stated in his soft , gentle voice . I smiled . He was definitely not a stalker .

' Yeah , I'm Peyton . Say , do you know where my two friends are ? ' I stated then asked . Light Steve nodded .

' Richard is with his sister and Adriana went on a walk . You can join Phoniex and Richard if you wish . ' Light Steve said .

' If you know the way , then you can show me . ' I said , smiling . Light Steve then walked past me as I followed him . Two doors down from where Light Steve's room was where Richard and Phoniex were . Light Steve then gently knocked one the door.

' Phoniex ? ' Light Steve asked .

' coming ! ' A female voice replied . After a few moments , the door opened and revealed a girl around Richard's height . Her hair was dark brown , fading into a slightly lighter brown at the ends of her hair . Her eye color was a dull yet pale light yellow , but they had something else to them . The female looked at Light Steve , then me .

' hello . i assume you are Peyton , yes ? ' The female said in a soft voice , but it sounded different , odd even . I then was dragged into Phoniex's room and ended up next to Richard on the floor .

' Finally you woke . ' Richard said as I playfully pushed him . He only chuckled as Phpniex waved to Light and closed the door before coming over to us and stiing down . After a while , maybe five hours , we all got to know each other . Phoniex is an apprentice of a Steve named ' Time Steve ' , who was created by Galaxy Steve and Void Steve . She helps Time and other Steve's to defeat the evil Steve's , like Void .

Elemental Steve's point of view .

I sat on my rightful throne which was next to Nightmare's , which his was next to Dark's . I sighed , bored as ever until I heard footsteps . I knew who it was as I got off my throne and walked to the entrance of the throne room to meet my father , Void , who seemed to have something with him . A scroll .

' Hello , father . Usually you would spy on the other's . What useful information do you have today ? ' I asked .

' You know me too well , son . I found a scroll and it looks pretty interesting . Do you know where Nightmare and Dark are ? ' Void explained before he asked the whereabouts of the other king and prince that ruled .

' No , but I will send Memory to go find them . ' I answered before me and my father headed to find Memory and to my surprise , he was with Dark and Nightmare in the living room .

' are you sure that goes there , Memory ? ' Nightmare questioned , staring at a paper on the table . Memory nodded .

' It would be the only accurate place . ' Memory answered before he looked at me . Dark took notice and got up before he ran to me , hugging me in the process as I picked him up , smiling .

Nightmare turned his head , wanting to know where The Dark Prince had gone . I chuckled , knowing he would do that . After all , Nightmare is the one who is like an overprotective mother . Adorable . Not even a second later , I had felt two pairs of arms wrapped around me .

' You two comfortable ? ' I asked , smiling .

' Very . ' Dark responded happily .

' if i wasn't comfortable , why would i have my arms wrapped around you ? ' Nightmare questioned and I ruffled his corrupted blonde and black hair . Nightmare then noticed the scroll my father had , as Void handed it to The Nightmare King . Dark must have seen it as we all looked at it until I started reading it aloud .

' The prophecy is written for the three to find . One to know , two to climb . One will find The Elemental Master lurking near the ocean's depths . Soon , two humans will stand on the right and left . In the middle will stand one who has barely spoken , but it seems lead to them being more broken . ' I finished with a confused expression but it faded into a slight shocking expression . Dark must have noticed as he quickly higged me tighter . I smiled , knowing that he was safe along with Nightmare , but will I be ?

' i can send guards to guard you- ' Nightmare started , but I stopped him by petting his head softly .

' I'll be fine , Nighty . I promise . ' I said , smiling but it faded when I heard Memory speak .

' Forgive me for interrupting , Your Highnesses , but a girl has been spotted in the woods . Faceless just informed me with this information and she doesn't look like an Alex . ' Memory said as I picked Nightmare up with my free hand , but it seemed he didn't want me to but me being me , I did anyways .

Eventually , we got outside , into one of our towers . I carefully put Dark down then Nightmare as I then spotted what Memory spoke of . She looked nothing like an Alex , but .. a human .

' Should we attack ? ' Dark asked . Nightmare shook his head , shocking both me and Dark .

' no . for all we know , she could have some sort of element . i say we just be careful from here on out . ' Nightmare said as I nodded . A few moments past , the sun started to set down . I took Dark inside , knowing he was starting to get tired so I would need to make something for him to eat . Nightmare stayed , watching over the human .

Nightmare Steve's point of view .

After Elemental took Dark inside , I made sure nobody was watching before I teleported elsewhere . That being near , somewhere in front of the human girl we saw . She stopped in her tracks . I studied her . The girl had long , brown hair with pale skin . She obviously had wounds other than her face and knees . She wore ripped jeans , which showed some bruises she had on her legs , but not all since she wore dark gray boots . The sweater she wore was completely black . I then looked at her dark , demonical brown colored eyes . She didn't seem friendly .

' you have a reason to be out here , don't you , human ? ' I questioned , crossing my arms .

No response .

Huh .

' answer my question . ' I said , anger slowly running into my veins . I then growled , but didn't charge at her . Hand movements . Sign language .

' are you mute ? ' I questioned . She didn't say anything or move her head . She just..stared . This was going to be a while..
