There was nothing. At first. No color, no light, no dark, no white, no black. Absolute absence of anything and everything. But then there was a light.

First extremely dim. I thought I imagined it. But then it got brighter and louder and shined so much that I felt pain for the very first time. The light hit things all around it.

Suddenly I became aware of my surroundings. Of the the very fact I even had surroundings. A feeling I never experienced bubbled out of me. Excitement. But not as strongly as this other new feeling. Fear.

The light hit me as well. Hard. It gave me an unpleasantly painful scorching feeling. Burn. It stung and caused me create to create a loud high pitched sound I've never heard before.

Suddenly I became aware of a squeezing sensation in what I now call my legs.  The squeezing turned to pulling as hard sticky goop pressed along my sides from bottom to top.

My eyes burned more than the rest of me as the light became even more intense. A small sting stabbed one of my legs as noise surrounded me. Voices that used to murmer and wisper now shouted and holered at me. My high pitched shriek added into the commotion.

I now began to notice different versions of the light. Various shades and warmths. I'd one day learn to call them colors. Different parts of me were randomly pushed or pulled constantly.

I was then placed into a snug bedding. It felt familiar in this strange new world. Suddenly a blur blocked the light for a quick second. An Instant wave of relief flooded over me as I looked up at this familiar blur.

The blur's sound was familiar too. It blocked out all the other noises as it cooed at me. A beautiful, indescribable feeling eminated from this blur. I think now, looking back, that it must've been love...

This new feeling didn't last long.

I was soon ripped from it with emense force. This new blur holding me was not gentle and had no love. I felt the air rip against my skin as I sped past all my surroundings. My familiar blur disappearing behind me.

My shrieking grew even louder but a sound even greater than mine was heard in the distance. I knew instantly it came from my familiar blur. Liquid leaked from my face, blurring my vision even further.

This continued for an indefinite amount of time. Until I returned once again. To the Darkness.

Most people don't remember the day they were born....

But the funny thing is.....

I'm not

people.
