Stuck at camp

Chapter 1

Third person POV:

Ava and Sara just found out about an anachronism in a summer camp in Maine in 1995, by watching a movie called Swamp thaaaang, and later followed up by a call from Gideon.

Ava: "Well, how about that? We almost got to spend two whole uninterrupted hours together."

Sara: "How about...you come with me?"

Ava: "Summer camp? As in bug bites, bunk beds, and mean girls?"

Sara: "No, summer camp, as in camp fires, sing-alongs, and friendship bracelets. Camps the best. You'll love it."

The two women pinkie swore on that and then used Avas time courier to get to the waverider.

Sara: "Alight Gideon, take us to camp Ogawa, Maine, summer of 1995. And fabricate Councilor outfits for me, Ava, Ray, and John. And a massive amount of bugs spray."

Gideon: "Right away captain Lance."

John: "There is no way that I am putting on any namby-pamby costume."

Sara: "Do it for the kids John."

John: "Alright but ONLY this once," he says taking out a cigarette. He's about to light it but Sara takes it out of his mouth on her way to the captains chair.

Sara: "Strap In everyone. We need to stop this wet hot American summer from becoming a wet hot American bummer."

Gideon: "We have arrived captain."

Sara: "Good, thank you Gideon. Now before we head out, let's figure out what we're dealing with. John, any ideas?"

John: "Well you said your movie was based on a swamp thing, and I do happen to know of a swamp thing, but Maine is way to far up north for that beast."

Sara: "Do you have any information that could be useful to figuring out what it is we're dealing with?"

John: "Well from what you told me about your movie, I know that what ever this beast is, it takes children, but it only takes children one month a season. For the month of summer it feasts in August."

Gideon: "Captain there seems to be a problem."

Sara: "What's the problem Gideon?"

Gideon: "I seem to have taken us one month before the monster starts to take kids. We time traveled to July."

Sara: "Can you time jump us to August?"

Gideon: "I'm afraid I cannot."

Sara: "Alright, Ava can you use your time courier to get us there?"

Ava tries her time courier but it doesn't work.

Ava: "It's not working."

Sara: "Well we need to do this mission and catch whatever's taking the children. So I guess we're undercover for a whole month. Gideon what time is right now?"

Gideon: "It is precisely 11:20 pm."

Sara: "Alright, tomorrow morning we will head out to camp."

Sara's POV:

I saw Ava head off to my room in the waverider. Normally when Ava heads to my room it's to sleep or make out, but tonight feels different. I can feel that Ava is upset. So I head to the room after her. I walk in and see her crying.

Sara: "Aves what's wrong." I say as I walk to where she is and hug her.

Ava: "It's just...I don't know what to do." She says through tears. It hurts me so much that she's hurting right now.

Sara: "You don't know what to do about what?"

Ava: "This is a camp, and all of my memories are fake, and I don't know how to deal with children because I've never been one, and I'm just a copy of someone, and what if I blow the mission and-"

She was rambling so I broke her off of her ramble with a kiss. It breaks my heart so much that she believes that being a clone makes her nothing more than just a copy.

Sara: "Ava, you are unique, and extraordinary, and the love of my life. You will do great tomorrow." I tuck a piece of her hair behind her ears and wipe away her tears. "Besides I'll be there ever step of the way. I've been to summer camp, I'll show you around, show you the ropes of summer camp. Your not doing this alone."

Ava smiles at what I just said. Man I love her smile.

Sara: "And you know, you have something that no other Ava does."

Ava: "And what is that?" She says sounding like she already knows what I'm about to say.

Sara: "Me." I say with a smile.

Ava: "I love you"

Sara: "I love you more."

Ava: "Not possible."

Sara: "I think it is." I say with a smirk, knowing where this conversation is going.

Ava: "Care to prove it Ms.Lance?" She says, also with a smirk.

I connect my lips with hers and kiss her passionately. She kisses me back with the same amount of passion I'm giving her. It very quickly turns into a heated make out sesh, each kiss more passionate than the last. Sometimes I'm against the wall, sometimes she's against the wall. Not to long later we're both in bed, with both our shirts ripped and on the floor. Tonight is going to be a very long night.
