Warrior Into The Forest

Prologue

The forest was dark and still. No sound of animals dashing across the pined ground that sat under a bunch of white birch trees. An orange tabby tom lay nestled in a bush hiding a fluffy gray kit. The tabbys blue eyes scanned the dark forest listening for any sound, his ear flicks to the sound of a twig snapping his heart pounded in his chest dipping more into the bush. He drinks in the smell of a shadowclan cat. Terror filled his mind as he felt the cat drawing near and near. "Blazestar... I know your here." a low mew echoed. Blazestar swallows but licks the kits head hoping it'd stay quiet. To Blazestars horror two yellow eyes glowed into the bush he was in. "I found you..." He smiles chuckling darkly. "I think you have something that belongs to me.." he says looking at the tiny kit. "This kit belongs to RiverLeaf!" Blazestar retorts. "You took it!" He hisses once more backing up into the bush taking the kit he was attempting to wiggle out from the other side till he feels himself bump into something. Suddenly he feels sharp teeth latch onto him pulling him out by the scruff of his neck, letting out a yowl of pain Blazestar drops the kit and hisses trying to shake himself free. Luckily, the cat behind him lets go and Blazestar slashes his claws against the dark cats cheek. This cat was Onyxheart deputy of Shadowclan. 
Onyxheart retaliates by biting into Blazestars neck who cries out. "Let him go onyxheart.. we don't need to kill him just needed to get the kit. Let hurry back to our clan before morning." he mews he stood poise, Goldenstar was like the prince of the forest he was elegant and a beautiful tom. Onxyheart was more beaten up his ear was torn a little and may scratches that had been patched together with cobwebs. Letting Blazestar go and watching his body fall to the ground he looks to the tiny kit who mews helplessly. "What are we going to do with the little one?" He asks not really sure why he was even going on this mission in the first place. "The kits mine." Goldstar says. "WHAT?!" Onxyheart asks honestly surprised Goldenstar got laid before him. "who is the queen?" He asks picking up the kit and walking away from the knocked up orange tabby. "Riverleaf." he says. "A thunderclan cat?" he asks again.. "Goldenstar.. that breaks warrior code!" his hisses of protest where muffled due to the kit. "I know... but i'm willing to break code if it means taking care of the kit Riverleaf n i made..." he says remembering what it was like to watch his love get murderd by a dark forest cat. Shadow. He loved Riverleaf just as much as Goldenstar  burdened by jealousy he killed the beautiful tortoiseshell queen. That was Shadows way of not letting anyone touch his beloved.. if he couldn't have him no one could. "Goldenstar...? Are you okay?" Onxyheart asks. "I'm going to kill him." Goldenstars claws dig deeply into the grounds once again. "I'm by your side the who way.. but Shadowclan needs more warriors.. kits are dying day by day because of the lack in prey... I and my apprentice Kiwipaw (kyloe) could only find one vole.." He said flattening his ears. Goldenstar looks up at the sky "If we don't do something quick.. Shadow won't hesitate to take Shadowclan as his own...." Onxyheart brushes Goldenstars pelt dipping his mussel in between Goldenstars shoulders. "Starclan will guide our way.. we will be fine." He whispers licking his leaders ear then picking the kit back up and bounding ahead. "Hurry up!! Kiwipaw will be up any minute you know how he is about not getting training in!" He said. "I don't know if starclan will be able to help us with this one.." Goldenstar wished he had his clanmates confidence as he fallows him into the hallow into Shadow clan.
