A chilly wind blows through the snow-capped trees as you look down the frozen river, following a trail. The rising sun in the distance tells you its morning, but the lack of sounds from the animals disturbs you. You shiver as the air becomes colder and wonder why you dove into these lands in the first place. You smile and look down at the letter you received.
"I miss you! It's been so long since I've seen you! Please come find me. Follow the icy river north until you reach a fork and head right." I'll known when you are here. Love, Crystal
You fight on through the icy cold winds, down the long winding river in the early morning hours, when at last you reach the fork. You stop taking in the view and shiver once more. The ice-capped trees towering above you look as if any moment they will fall over, covering you in heavy snow. The icy river looks enticing to drink, but what if you slipped in trying to break through the ice? You look left and see the river coming to an end and a lovely field of snow-dusted hills lead on. You look right and see treacherous mountains full of dark trees, ice and snow swirling around, clouding your view from what's on top of the mountain. Which path do you take? Just as you start to decide, you hear a woman's voice echoing down the mountain, crying out for help.
