Chapter 34

The next day
10:00am Monday June 20th

Amal:
I woke up by ten and surprisingly the babies are not in their cradle , maybe khalifah took them with him , I  took my bath and I quickly got dressed into a red dress with a turban cap cause I know the house will be full of guests .

When I was done I headed downstairs and met everyone having breakfast and the babies were in their pram, I greeted everyone and I sat down to eat when we were done I took the kids to breastfeed them , when we were done I decided to go upstairs to the palour , we started having guests by 10:30 , mama and mami decided to call the decorators and caters , while ihsan is placing an appointment with the make up artists while Ayesha is calling the planners while manal is checking out designers for my clothing, and khalifah is booking an appointment with nonso okoye and BIG H , I was attending to so many guests that I lost track of time , it was time for zuhr prayer , we all prayed and I continued to attend to the guests while hayfa and ruqaiya are booking appointment with the henna lady , I was feeling sleepy cause I did not get enough sleep yesterday night , so I told mama to please attend to the guests that I want to rest small and she should be with the babies and she said okay , I went into mine and khalifah's room to sleep and I locked the door so that no one will disturb me haha 😆 finallyyy , I drifted into a deep slumber but not before setting an alarm for asr so I can pray and feed the babies.

3:50pm
I just woke up because of my alarm , I did ablution and prayed then I unlocked the room door and the house was noisy ohh god am so tired I don't want to attend to guests I never thought it was this hard , I went to the palour upstairs cause the palour downstairs were for khalifah's guests, and I started hugging people I have not seen for a long time , well apparently mama, mami and Anty mami were with their friends in the second palour upstairs, so I called blessing through the intercom , blessing please, you  and talatuwa should bring the babies to my palour upstairs collect them from the second palour where mama is (me) , okay ma'am ( blessing) blessing and talatuwa came with the kids in their pram trolling them , they greeted the guests and brought the babies near me , they were sleeping so I gently picked them up one by one and gave to the people that want to carry them , that's how we continued with series of prayers made for them , my Christian friend patrisha also came and my uni friends, cousins from my paternal side , and also relatives from khalifah's side , it was fun , as we  jisted and did A lot of fun things , later on Maghreb was called and we all went to pray, after that I fed the kids and lay them to sleep while I was in the palour with some visitors, some snapped pics of them by 8:00  isha was called and we all prayed and by then the visitors started going and some were still coming In and apparently khalifah was not done with his guest , I asked blessing to drop my food at the dinning telling her am coming down to eat , she should keep for me and khalifah. Finally it was around 10:00 and people started going but some relatives from my side and khalifah's side stayed , I took the babies downstairs to where khalifah's Friends , cousins , relatives and my brothers were and they also picked the babies , by 12:00 khalifah's friends were gone . We ate dinner late sha , I took the babies to the room with me as I took my bath and slept off as usual without waiting for khalifah.
