You may be wondering how I even got to be Shoto's girlfriend.Well,it's actually a pretty funny story.

I was walking home from the bar near my house where I'd stopped for a few drinks.It was late afternoon,around May of last year if I remember correctly.To save time,I decided to take a shortcut through the abandoned alleyway behind the bar.There were explosions and whatnot going on in the background which I didn't really pay attention to because this kind of stuff happens all the time.

Anyway,I was walking along when suddenly I heard grunts of frustration.Moving closer,I saw a guy stuck under some debris.
Quickly,I rushed over to him.He was stuck underneath a rock,a big one too.Struggling,I lifted it off of him.

Now free,the guy quickly stood up,brushing away the dust.He had red and white hair,and I instantly recognised him.
"Yo-you're Shoto Todoroki!!"
"Yeah."
"WOAH!!You're the pro hero,right?"
..
Then I realised something.

"Are you the cause of those explosions over there?"
"Kind of.But we're trying to stop that."He smiled,a small smile.

He's actually kind of cute,I thought.Huh.Who knew?And didn't I read somewhere that he's the same age as me?
"You'd better get going,then.There's some of us quirkless you need to get out of there..before they get hurt."

"Don't worry miss,there are people taking care of this.Those explosions-"
"Oh.That's you?"
"Well,not me,exactly."
"Oh,you mean-"
"Bakugo.He's just looking for an excuse to blow up someone,honestly."He said this last part under his breath.

A heartbeat passed.Then:"Did you just say 'us quirkless?'"

I looked at the ground.
"...Yeah."
"Oh.Sorry miss,I didn't even know you guys existed anymore."

I pretended to frown.

"Firstly,ouch.Secondly..."I trailed off.

"Secondly...you're kind of right,I guess.Only 5% of the population is quirkless now,you know."I suddenly felt sad.Being quirkless can make you feel very lonely when you're surrounded by people with quirks.

"I'm sorry.I can't imagine how you go through life."

"...it sucks,you can say."

...

"Sorry again miss,but I need to go.They're probably looking for me."
"Yeah,right.If they were ACTUALLY looking for you,they would've found you before we even started talking."

He looked at me again.For a while.It was a strange kind of look.I'd never seen it before.Then:"Thank's for helping me back there."
"Um,yeah.You're welcome."

He smiled,the same small smile.Then he sped away.
