"People are mysteriously disappearing around here. We don't know who is behind these disappearances, but-------"

Jay-Ar shut off the television.

He knew about these attacks.

He was a victim in these attacks.

The military was behind the attacks.

Jay-Ar stretched on a moth-bitten bed. Jay-Ar had been abducted at his prom.

He could only remember one thing: Marc.

He wanted Marc to be his forever, but now, he was furious with Marc, for if Marc never made out with Janice, Jay-Ar wouldn't be stuck here.

A sharp knock at the door disturbs Jay-Ar's thoughts.

"Food." said a raspy voice.

A tray of food slid under the door.

As soon as the food slid under his door, Jay-Ar pounced at it.

Today's meal was: tomato soup, a sandwich, and a peanut butter cookie.

Jay-Ar ate silently. He devoured the tomato soup and sandwich, but he stowed the cookie in his pocket for later.

An hour after he ate, he curled up on his moth-bitten bed and fell asleep.

The next morning, he awoke and found himself bound to a chair.
