March 1 came fast.

Jay-Ar knelt in his cell, silently praying.

Many people turned up to watch his execution, for the rebels didn't want gays to live.

The Captain appeared.

"Hello and goodbye." he said to Jay-Ar cheerfully.

The Captain led Jay-Ar out of his cell, where he was flanked by two guards.

The two guards' faces were hidden under their helmets.

As they moved towards the Courtroom, where Jay-Ar was to be executed, the two guards that flanked Jay-Ar removed their swords from their sheaths and brandished them at the Captain.

"What is this?!" cried the Captain, bewildered.

"A rescue!" shouted the first guard whose voice was oddly familiar.

The Captain hesitated.

Taking advantage of his hesitation, the first guard sharply hit his head

The Captain fell to the floor, knocked unconscious.

Both guards removed their masks.

Marc and Anton.

Marc pulled Jay-Ar towards the exit of the military.

But a strange mist filled the room that made the three of them drowsy.

Marc and Anton fell unconscious.

After a half a dozen whiffs, so did Jay-Ar.

The last thing Jay-Ar saw was Rocque.
