Battle Scars

The beginning....no the end

*phone beeps* "Ugh who's texting me, what time is it?" Luke said. It's a text from Calum "Hey dude srry if I woke up but do u wanna hang out?" "Yeah sure." Luke texted back. "K I'll c u soon." Calum replied. Luke checked his instagram and twitter before getting out of bed. He went to his bathroom washed his face and brushed his teeth. He went to the closet after that and said "What should I wear, eh I'll just wear whatever it's just Cal." "Oh yeah this is cool." He said to himself. He put on a black ripped muscle shirt and black ripped jeans. He grabbed his sunglasses and keys before heading out of his house. Once he got in the car he plugged in his phone and played to live and let go. As Luke was driving he said "Man I'm glad I brought sunglasses it's so freaking sunny.". After about 10 minutes of driving Luke pulled into Calums' driveway. He walked up to Calums' door and knocked a few times. "Coming, just a sec." Calum said, Luke could hear Calums footsteps walking down the stairs and towards the door. Calum opened the door and they both said "Hey.". They walked to the living room together. Luke threw himself on the coach and Calum followed both making the cushions move around. "So what do you wanna do?". Luke asked. "Whatever.". Calum said. "How about some pizza?". "Sounds cool." Luke said. They both walked outside. "Your car or my car?" Luke asked. "I don't really care." Calum said. "Let's just go in my car." Luke said. "K." Calum said. Luke unlocked the car and they both got in. As soon as Luke got in he put his sunglasses on that he had left in the car and said "Man it's damn sunny." Calum said. " I know right." Luke said. As they were driving they heard they couldn't describe, it sounded like a ship or something. "What the hell was that." Calum said. "Yeah that sounded scary." Luke said. "Whatever it's probably nothing." Luke said. "Yeah you're probably right." Calum said. "Cool we're here." Luke said. They both walked into the pizza store. "What do want?" Luke asked. "Just a pepperoni pizza." Calum said. "Yeah same can we just get to pepperoni pizzas." Luke said as he pulled out his wallet. "Wait are you paying?" Calum said. "Yeah." Luke said. "No let me pay." Calum said. "Dude it's fine." Luke said "No I'm paying." Calum said quickly pulling his wallet out quickly. "No I'm paying!" Luke said. "No I am!" Calum said as they both started shoving money towards the cashier. "Why don't you guys just split it?" The cashier said with a chuckle, putting her hand and their arms to break them up. "Fine!" They both said glaring at eachother. "Ok here's my half." "Here's mine." Calum said. "Thanks I'll get your pizza I'm a sec. And your names?. "Calum!" Calum said quickly covering Lukes' mouth so he couldn't say his name first. "Ok so Calum right?" The cashier said. "Right!" Calum said still covering Lukes' mouth. Luke made a gesture for Calum to move his hand but Calum still didn't uncover Lukes' mouth. So Luke did what he had to do, he licked Calums fingers. "Ew! Gross dude!" Calum yelled. "Sorry but your weren't talking your hand off my mouth." Luke said. "Let's just go outside." Calum said lettitng out a laugh, Luke did the same. They sat down at some tables near the dominoes. As Luke sat down he noticed two girls a few seats away from them. One had long brown and and a black shirt but Luke couldnt tell what her shirt said becuase her back was facing him. The other had dark brown, almost black hair and a royal blue musle top that said la on it. "Hey what are you looking at?" Calum said with a bit a curiosity on his face. "Oh nothing Luke said. I'm gonna go check if the pizzas are ready." Luke said standing up from his chair. "K." Calum said. Luke came back with two pizzas. "Oh sweet!" Calum said licking his lips. Luke sat down and began to eat his pizza. As they were eating they started to hear those ship-like sounds. "Wait I hear those sounds again." Luke siad with concern in his voice. "Yeah what is that?" Calum said. Almost immediately after saying that Calums eyes opened wide as if he had just seen his worse nightmare come to life. "Dude are you ok?" Luke asked, his voice filled with concern. "Look." Calum said lifting his finger to point, his entire body was filled with horor. Luke slowly turned becuase he was afraid to see what Calum was pointing at. As soon as he saw it his eyes became filled with the same fear that filled Calum.
