Untitled Part 3

After figuring out where my Math class is I finally found it and walked inside the door, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. Oh crap, I hate being centre of attention, mehhh do I look like a freaking zoo animal or something?!

“And you are?” The teacher with glasses and a funny voice asked me from his desk.

“Uhm I’m Rose…Rose Forster I’m new here” I went up to him and gave him my diary.

“Ok you can sit down, I’ll go through what we’re doing in a minute with you” He explained taking the role. I turned around and everyone went back to what they were doing. I spotted Tarryn in the middle with her hair falling over her face. I just wanted to brush it back. Stop it Rose, you just met her, you’re not even friend. I walked over to her desk.

“Uhm can I sit next to you?” I asked her hoping she will say yes.

“She looked up from her book and shrugged, I take that as a yes. So I slowly sat down next to her then the teacher began his lesson on algebra. I think I fell asleep because the next minute Tarryn was telling me it was time to go. We shuffled out of class and to the lockers realising I didn’t have a locker.

“Tarryn? I don’t have a locker” I said to her expecting her to think I’m weird.

“Oh uh there’s a locker next to mine that’s free, but are you prepared to be trampled by over testeroned boys thinking they’re cool swearing and shoving each other around like they’re dominant over everyone else?” She explained to me looking seriously.

“I think I’ll take the chance, I don’t know anyone else apart from you” I said shoving my bag in the small locker.

“You know me? I swear I have never met you before” She said sarcastically.

“Ha-ha very funny Missy” I said. We started walking until we arrived at a group of people.

“Heyy guys this is Rose, she’s new and happens to live across the road from me” Tarryn introduced me. “Rose, this is Riley, smartest chick in this group” Riley smiled at me “This is Beynon, we call him Beavis and this here is his twin brother Damon who is Butthead” They both gave me a smile and a nod.

“Nice to meet you guys” I said and sat down next to Tarryn.

“So Rose, what school did you come from?” Riley asked me.

“Trinity College” I replied realising I had no food, ugh! I’m so hungry and I didn’t bring food, I’m an idiot.

“You went to Trinity?” Beynon asked me.

“Yeah I did” I said not knowing where this was heading.

Damon spoke up “How was it?”

“It was alright for a school I guess, this is my fifth school in five years so they all seem alright” They all looked at me like I grew three heads. “Uhm did I like grow three heads or something? ‘cause you guys are looking at me funny” I frowned at them checking that I actually didn’t grow three heads.

“No silly, it’s why did you go to so many schools?” Tarryn asked me truly wondering as to why I went to five schools.

“I don’t know my mum would just get up and leave, she said we’ll be staying here for a while” I explained pulling at my dress.

“Well you seem like a cool enough chick so we welcome you to the group, but this is your last chance to get out while you can, ‘cause once you’re our friend you are always our friend” Riley explained to me making an ultimatum for me.

“I’ll take the chance, I need all the friends I can get” I’ve been taking a lot of chances these days, maybe everything is turning around for the best.
