Jimin woke up, feeling his back in pain. He quickly arched his back and realised that he was still sleeping on the couch. He got off the couch and walked towards his room, walking slowly as his still has back pain.

He silently opened the room, revealing a sleeping Jungkook on the bed. Jimin got on the bed with Jungkook and continued sleeping. He was feeling relieved that Jungkook came home last night.

Time skip
7.00a.m.

Jimin woke up, feeling Jungkook was still beside him. He quickly changed into a suit and went downstairs to prepare breakfast for both of them.

By the time Jimin got the food ready, Jungkook was already downstairs at the dining table.

The whole time they ate was just filled with awkward silence. Finally, Jimin broke the silence.

"What time did you come home yesterday, baby?"

"I don't know."

"Jungkookie, why are you acting like that these few day? You're making me worried. Is your work bothering you?"

"It's none of your business. You will eventually find out why."

Jimin felt his heart shattered into pieces. No, it's not a million pieces, but uncountable pieces that resembled infinity.

Silence took over them once again, except that no one bothered to even break it.

They finished their breakfast and went to work in the same car. The whole ride was silence, no one even cared to talk to each other.

Jungkook dropped off Jimin and went to his office. Jimin went into his office and was greeted by Taehyung. (Taehyung works with him and is his best friend too)

"Hi, Jimin! Did things patch up between you and Jungkook?

" Hi Tae. "he sighed," No, he always shut me down whenever I try to pull up a conversation. "

" Hey, Jimin. Don't be affected by that. How bout' we go to the nearby restaurant later? "

" Thanks, Tae. I really appreciate your help," Jimin smiled.

"No problem. Hey, we're best friends right? Best friends help each other out, so I will always be there for you when you need me." Taehyung said cheerfully.

Jimin giggled, "Thanks a million, Tae."

The boys continued their work until it was lunch time.

Jungkook's pov

I was greeted by Cheryl, my ex girlfriend and my now girlfriend. And yes, I am cheating on Jimin when I know I shouldn't.

Cheryl was my ex only because she left me for another man last time, and now they broke up, so I claimed her back as mine again. I mean, who wouldn't accept her by her cuteness?

"Hey, Jungkookie. Did you miss me?"

"Of course, my angel. I can't stop thinking about you the whole night."

"That's sweet. Oops, we have lost track of time. I'll not bother you now. Focus on your work now so we can hang out later." Cheryl said while attempting to push me towards my office.

I can't stop giggling at her cuteness. "Alright, alright."

I walked into my office and began to work.

Taehyung 's pov

It was lunchtime now. I went to the nearby restaurant with Jimin beside me.

"Hey Jimin. What do you want to get?" I asked as we sat down by a window seat, Jimin's back facing the entrance.

"Oh, I'll get fried rice and some tea. You?"

"I'll get the same as you."

The waiter arrived shortly and picked up our orders. Shortly, our food arrived.

I gobbled down my food while Jimin ate slowly. My food was gone in a blink of eye. Suddenly, I felt pain in my stomach.

"Jimin, wait for me, I'm going to the toilet."

Jimin nodded in response.

I quickly used the toilet and went back to Jimin. I was waiting for him to finish his food until I saw a familiar shadow at the entrance with another girl beside it.
