Having done a bit of research on the way Officers Drew and Aden knew who they were looking for, manager Cameron James.

Sweet Tooth was closed for a two hour break, yet a waitress was in there mopping the floor. Drew tapped on the glass door, catching the waitress' attention.

She and Aden showed their badges and the waitress, no more than 22 hurried over with a set of keys and let in the officers, a concerned look on her round face.

"Good day officers, what can I do for you today?" She msmiled brightly but her eyebrows were drawn together in evident confusion.

"Is Mr Cameron James in," Drew questionned, looking around the empty café. "Yes, he's in his office, I could carry you to him," the waitress whose name tag read 'Tavia', offered.

"That would he great - Tavia," Aden smiled.

"May I ask what this is about?"

"Actually, could i ask you a few questions," Aden glanced at Drew, who gave him an approving nod.

Tavia agreed and directed Drew to Cameron's office.

Drew knocked on the door and opened it, revealing a dead Cameron James. "Dammit," Drew pressed her radio, "we have another hody, Sweet Tooth, 172nd Street."

Tavia and Aden hurried over and Tavia put her hands over her mouth, "he- he was fine an hour ago when we closed for lunch."

Tavia began to sob and stepped into the office. "Hold on Tavia, we have to wait for backup," Drew put a hand in front of her.

"Dad," Tavia sobbed, falling to her knees.

Drew and Aden looked at each other and Aden carried her outside, coaxing and speaking softly.

Drew pulled on a pair of latex gloves and neared the body.

Clutched in Cameron James's hand was a bitten chocolate cupcake.

.

The ambulance removed Cameron's body and another officer was talking to Tavia.

"This is just great," Drew sighed. Aden pat her back and shook his head, "we're going to get this one, after all this is what we signed up for."

Drew scoffed and massaged her temple, "if only we really knew what we were getting ourselves in when we were kids."

Aden shrugged, "I couldn't see you behind a desk answering telephone calls."

"Likewise," Drew smiled.
