Happy New Year ♡♡

K R Y S T A L

It was time for a mission today, we piled inside of the door, I was squashed in between Kenshi and Riki.

"We're going to steal an important art work today, the original artist is still alive and wish to pass it on to his grandson so we're going to get it back." Riki explained.

"Sounds boring." Takuto said rolling his eyes.

"Whatever, we're here anyway." Hiro chirped.

"It's showtime!" Riki yelled while yanking open the door.

We ran inside the building slowly, observing our surroundings. Riki signalled us to follow him.

"Takuto, have you disabled the security yet?" Riki whispered into the receiver as we waited at the door.

"Not yet, the security is really tight." Takuto groaned.

We waited for a few more seconds and Takuto finally hacked into the system. I slided open the door and stepped inside the room.

There was a lot of artworks hanging in the room. I could recognize most of them from the books that I read when I was younger.

"Head right and go straight." Riki commanded as we nodded, following the route.

We stopped at a particular painting, it was gold dragon with silver swirls. I could understand why it was a precious painting, I think it might taken ages to paint this.

"Hiro, is that a..." Kenshi was cut off by the sirens ringing, we gasped and looked around frantically. There was about five guards surrounding us.

One of them neared me and I knocked him out with my fist. I twisted the guard's arm with all of my might and whacked his head hard, knocking him out as well.

The rest of us started fighting the guards as Hiro quickly examined the painting.

I punched the last guard's nose hard and pushed him on the ground. "You're not so bad, Jung." Riki exclaimed.

"You're not so bad yourself." I answered back.

"It's not a counterfeit, let's go!" Hiro grinned happily. We picked up the painting and exited the building.

We climbed inside the van and Riki started to bombard Takuto with questions. "Why did the alarms rang?"

"I couldn't disable it in time." Takuti said frustrated.

"It's fine, just don't let it happen again." Riki said looking away and place his hands on the steering wheel.

I raised my eyebrows and Hiro leaned forward to my ear and whispered, "Riki isn't really in a good mood today."

"It's obvious, isn't it?" I laughed.

Hiro shook his head, "He became like this since last week and we don't know why." He looked like a sad puppy while frowning.

"Maybe he just had a bad week." I said nonchalantly and Hiro nodded weakly.

We had just finished throwing a full blown party Le Renard Noir and everybody had gone to sleep. I had decided to stay behind because it was really late.

I blinked slightly and climbed out of my bed, I couldn't sleep even though I was tired.

I clutched the handrails tightly and haul myself up for each step. The weak light became more bright every step I take.

Suddenly, I saw a tall figure standing against the wall. It was Riki.

"Aren't you going to go to sleep?" I asked and Riki turned around.

"I couldn't sleep, how about you?" He asked.

"I can't either, is something on your mind?" I questioned.

He hesitated and start to speak slowly, "I had a fight with my father. When I visited him last week, he refused to speak to me."

He confessed.

"Oh, what were you arguing about?" I prompted.

"He was thinking for getting me an arranged marriage but I straight out refused."

"Well its technically not your fault anyway, it's your life and you should choose your path." I said.

"You're right, thanks." Riki smiled at me happily.

"You're welcome." We stood side by side in comfortable silence till the sun rose up.
