【let's see what the others did on their week with the people.】

________________________________________________

Hoseok and Jungkook went to the south. They were experiencing a drought unseen. They are praying to the gods and doing all kinds of superstitious things. The villagers look weary at the 2 men. They smile and are friendly to the villagers but all of the villagers have no time to bother with these strangers. They are cold toward our duo. "Sheesh... what a sour pricks..." They arrive at their inn, and the inkeeper, a friendly woman because that is how an innkeeper's true self is. "Excuse the others. They are all annoyed. The crops are in full growth and we need rain to bring it to a success... Or we will know famine in the winter..." "Famine...that's not good. A true king needs to make measures against that. We should take this with us back to the palace and keep this in mind." Hoseok says and Jungkook nods. They are sharing a room.

After they settled down, they go out for a walk. A mother and her daughter are in a garden, playing. Hoseok stops and looks at them. Jungkook looks at what has his hyung emotional like that. When he sees the scene, he puts his hand on Hoseok's shoulder. "They are fine, hyung. Your mother is working because she doesn't want to rely on my father too much. She is working in the harbor for cleaning fish. Your sister is doing well. She is gradually getting over her... mishap..." Hoseok has tears in his eyes. "I know... You told me they are doing well, and I believe you, but it's just... I miss them. I won't be able to see them ever again." Jungkook sighs and lays his head on Hoseok's shoulder in a way to comfort him even more. They just stay like that for a while, until the mom and daughter run off again. They walk in silence through a field with high grass, it is very dry. The wind is warm too, and the shadow under the trees is barely any better. "It's incredibly warm here." Hoseok is sweating and is lifting his clothes to get some fresh air in there. "I know, hyung, but that's not the only thing. Look!" he points at a field and grabs earth. It just crumbles in his hand and the wind takes it away. "This ground is so dry, it barely can hold itself, never mind holding nutrition for the vegetables." They look over the fields and it's every where the same. "Is there really nothing we can do, Jungkook ah? You are so smart in everything... Don't you know something to help this?" Jungkook is shrugging and walks on. He can't help but still think about it.

They walk on and far from the fields they find a river. The water is plenty and it is making these pretty sparkles from the sunshine. They can't resist and take off their shoes and sock and lift their robes. They walk into the river and are being refreshed. "The river is a solution, but it's an awful long distance away from the village and fields..."Hoseok says. Suddenly Jungkook claps his hands together. "Hyung! I got it! I read something from a country where there are tall triangular buildings. A land of many kings and dynasties. It's called irrigation." Hoseok is standing in the water and looks at JK in confusion. "Irri-irrgation? What is that?" Jungkook walks to the side of the river and grabs rocks and pebbles. He then takes a big stick and draws a line from in the river to the side. He places rocks at one side and the water fills the gap he made with the stick. "Like this. The river comes to the spot far away from the river!" Hoseok looks at his example and sees the water divert partially. "That...IS MAGNIFICENT! Will it work on larger distances tho?" Jungkook nods. "If we make the gap big enough, and deep it will! We can make the river bend to our will. If it works, you will be a national hero! No, you could even make it to king!" He smacks Jungkook on the back hard, and JK stumbles a bit forward. He smiles his bunny smile "No thanks... I am not cut out for that." "Bullshit... You are amazing."

They walk back to the village and round up men. They walk with them to the river and Jungkook walks in the fields. He places sticks to show where they should make canals. Hoseok takes half of the men to the river, Jungkook takes half of them to the fields, where they started digging. Jungkook and Hoseok are in the trenches and also digging. Their hands are sore by the evening, but they already managed to move the works along. The next day Hoseok and Jungkook are digging with the men again. Jungkook entrust the men in the fields to follow his plan with the sticks and joins Hoseok with the men at the riverside. "Be very careful, first we dig to the field, then we dig away the last part here so the river can flow. Hoseok is topless working. He borrowed dirty clothes from a villager and has no top on since it's too hot. The sun is bashing merciless on his back, sweat is dripping as some women walk around, handing out jugs of water to the workers. Hoseok gets a jug and drinks it greedily. He spills water out of his mouth and it refreshes his body since it is dripping over his muscles. Jungkook looks at this man being all hot and handsome. Hoseok hyung is quite the stud too... He seems to think. So different from Jimin... He shakes his head at the thought of Jimin. No, I can't think of him now, or I'll miss him too much....
