The NamJin team was placed in the  west of the city. They patrolled and helped locals with work. Jin was slightly more oblivious about work than Namjoon, but if Namjoon helped, he sometimes failed and broke something. So eventually they worked together. Namjoon saw work, and notified Jin of it to do it. This way they both helped out. On their 3rd day they heard from a villager that it was that time again, and apologizing that he didn't have meat. Curious, Jin asks more about 'it'. "Around this time of the year there is a ghost wandering around the forest next to the mountain, it possesses people into seeing things that aren't real. It makes you crazy! Some people die when they fall down the mountain, so this time of the year you can find a lot of corpses. It is gruel." Jin shivers and Namjoon is just fine. "It is more frequent at night. Hunters are scared to go hunting, and they mostly hunt at night, the larger animals come out then. It is forming quite the problem." Namjoon and Jin look at each other. "Don't worry, tonight we roll out and will go check it out." Jin smiles and the hunter looks very happy. "REALLY? That would be amazing!" "No problem. We want to help the people." "Ah, you guys... are the king candidates, right?" Both men nod. "Well, good luck."

They take a quick nap and wake up at twilight. They walk into the forest. Jin is nervous, he isn't that good with scary things. He sticks close to Namjoon. Namjoon can feel how Jin holds onto his arm, and looks at this handsome man holding him. He sees how that handsome face was all torn in pleasure that one night he saw through the window. I can't believe that this man did that... But on the other hand, I did it too... He was a bit awkward but soon the image of Jin and Yoongi got replaced by the sensation of Taehyung around his dick. Ghosts?" He walks on, pulling a terrified Jin with him.

The light doesn't seem to move so it starts to look not like a ghost anymore. "Jin...It's not a ghost I think..." Jin carefully takes his face out of Namjoon's shoulder. "I-it's not?" He looks at the light and also sees it isn't moving. He can smell something funky in the air. "What is that? And that smell?" He dares to leave a bit more distance between him and his partner. The light gets bigger and bigger and the moment they are at the light, they can't believe their eyes.

A whole field of glowing mushrooms in front of them. They are glowing bright. "What on earth..." Both men their jaw drops. "Are those... mushrooms?" Mesmerized they walk into the field but the moment they walk through it, the spores are spreading fast and high, by their movement. The spores are also lit up and both men inhaled them. "I think this is wrong... we should quickly go out of here..." Jin covers his nose and runs back out of the field. Namjoon follows but it has been too late. They inhaled to much of the spores. Jin can feel himself getting dizzy. Namjoon is slipping in out of consciousness. They are feeling intoxicated. Almost like being drunk. "I..I think these are hallucinating  mushrooms, nammie." Jin slurs out and supports himself on Namjoon's shoulder. "Oh no... What should we do now?" Jin looks around, barely keeping his eyes open. "Let's not walk, we could slip and fall, let's just sit over there and sit out the high." They stumble towards that spot and fall down. Jin is laying on Namjoon's lap. Namjoon is leaning with his back against the tree. The world is spinning. He is feeling sick to his stomach. He can feel warm stuff coming out of his mouth. He leans to the side, but barely feels himself throwing up. Both men are knocked out.

Jin wakes up first and gets up, but is still hallucinating. Namjoon opens his eyes and sees a beautiful ginsaeng in front of him. Fair skin and tall. Namjoon gets up and gropes her. They walk to the field of mushrooms, but the hoods are all closes up again, and not are not lit up anymore. Jin changes the subject "I guess these shrooms are night shrooms. They are only active at night. And they might be hallucinatory. That's why people think they are possessed." Jin looks over the now harmless field. "So, what will be our solution for this?" "Well, we got 2 options. We either put a perimeter around this area every year at this time, to keep people away. Or we give the order to cut them down instantly the moment they are still young and not producing spores." Namjoon nods at this solution as they return to the village. Jin is still sore and walks funny. Thank god I don't see Yoongi for another few days... Time to heal up. They are greeted by the hunter. And they explain everything. The hunter nods. "I don't think it is right to disturb nature. So I think we will go with option 1." Jin nods. "Very well. We will write this down and make it into a royal decree." "Thank you so much for your help. Good to hear it is actually safe to walk the forest grounds again." The hunter bows to the 2 men. They wave the courtesy away. "That's one mission we cleared..." "We make a good team, Jin hyung." They hook their hands in each other and give a strong squeeze.

The other days are just as usual, without any weird ordeals. Jin is fully healed by the time they arrive back in the palace. "Isn't Yoongi back yet?" Jin says out loud when he arrives in his house again. He looks out over the garden in hopes to see him but he can't seem to see him. "I want to see him, soon... I missed him... I want to give him my first time... again..." He closes the door and lays on Yoongi's bed, hugging his pillow and sniffing his smell.
