I opened my eyes just to shut them again.

The white light was blinding but  soon
My eyes were adjusted to it.

I am alive

I wasn't dead

The door burst open revealing a man in a lab coat.

" Good morning,  mr knight am so glad to see that your awake , am your doctor,  doctor chris" Right after he said that the door burst open revealing my family members .

My mom and  sister were in tears whilst my dad looked like he'd seen a ghost .

"Arthur, oh my baby boy"  I never was the kind to cry easily but seeing my mom and sister in tears just brought mine .

" How is he doc? . Is he going to be alright?" There was long silence before the doc cleared his throat.

" Am afraid i have some bad news for you and your family "

"What is it"

"Your son has chronic leukaemia " deadly silence engulfed the room , nothing to be heard other than the beeping of the monitors .

" H-How can this be . " my mother said

" He can't just have it!"

" Of course he can't  . He always had it it was just neglected.  Most patients don't have much time after being diagnosed with it but for him is something else, if my calculation are correct he has had for more than twenty years , but-"

" What is it doc"

"Because he wasn't able to be diagnosed earlier and receiving any treatment , his cancer is now at stage four"

"Stage four?!" My sister gasped as my parents broke into tears

" How much time am i left with?"

" I can never tell but estimated time would be atleast 2 months time"

Well , fuck am doomed.

"Mom am hungry"  Wiping all evidence of crying

"Ok , honey I'll go get something for you " she said before leaving with my father.

"Ariana"

"Yeah?"

"Get out"

"B-But-"

" I really want to be alone right now"  At first she refused but gave in " Okay"

" I'll be leaving too" the doctor said

" No ,wait" he stopped on his tracks and slowly turned, facing me

" Anything i can help with?"

"Actually yes, there is"

Two hours  later and i was still in this sickening bed after i had been successfully in chasing my family away despite their protest.

So i was currently in bed with my thoughts and i have to say i never knew that my thoughts could be more.....dark.

I was distracted when the doors to my room burst open revealing a beautiful girl with a tear stained face. She made her way towards me, stumbling on her way until she made it to my bed.

"A-Arthur....I-I thought i lost you b-but your here now and am so glad " she cried.

I cupped her cheek in my hand brushing my thumb across her tear ruined face .

She looked at me , tears still silently falling from her swollen eyes .

This girl she so beautiful......but "Who are you"

Upon hearing my question she froze , not like as into ivmce or anything , no.

She just stayed there without blinking perhaps still processing my question.

When it finally hit she slowly moved away from me , her eyes atill remaind fixed towards the thing in bed, me.

" Arthur  what is my name?" She asked with a slight trembling voice

" I don't know, that's why i asked who you were , you seem to know me though are you my sisters friend.  She tends to make new ones everyday."

"No" she voiced

"Your not a friend of my sister then who are you?"

" A-Am your-"  falling down on the ground she seem to cry her heart out

"Hey beautiful girl how do you know me?"

"B-Because am y-your g-girlfriend "
