The Devil came into the room minutes after the make up artist, I recognized her instantly I've always dreamt of getting my make up done by T'glams, I obsessively followed her on Instagram always the first to comment on her every post she has always been my style icon I finally got my wish just not the way I wanted. Atleast I found out what a rude obnoxious woman she is before I wasted all my hard-earned money and hired her. She must be a really greedy woman to associate with this animals, she could clearly see the state we are in but it didn't seem to bother her at all she just sat there chatting away with her assistants,it didn't even seem to bother her that she had to wipe away snort and tears before she can apply make up to the faces of most of the girls,it has finally sunk in that this is the end of the road for us,there was no going home from here by some kind of nonverbal mutual agreement we were all quiet and lost in our own thoughts, the more some of the girls cried the more she wiped off and just kept working like she didn't even notice it. They must be paying her alot to turn a blind eye to so much despair.
The bastard stood at the door looking us over like a butcher, his eyes rested on mine and he just kept staring like the creep he is. I can't believe I ever thought this man was a good person,it must have been the fear that was riding me at the time that made me delusional because there wasn't an ounce of goodness in this man. His dead eyes kept digging into mine there wasn't any light or twinkle there but for some reason they still pulled me in and I couldn't look away, sure he's probably the most gorgeous man I've ever seen in my life but his face is so expressionless he resembles a porcelain statue, a mind reader couldn't tell you what this devilish man was thinking in that pretty head of his, the beauty I was in awe of the first time I saw him has been overwhelmed by the hatred I now feel for him. I'll probably never see my family again and it was all because this man thought he had the right to sell me off like a slave,I will never forgive him for what he did to me! Never!
He stood there for what seemed like an eternity but in reality was probably just a few minutes a new guy I've never seen before came in and whispered something to him they both disappeared out the door. The guy they call Bilya came back to stand in front of the door "all of you better keep sitting and don't make any trouble and we will get along just fine" he said as he turned on the cattle prod and watched the hissing of the crackling electricity make us all shudder all the while chuckling like a maniac.
We sat there alot of us stewing from the injustice of it all,us suffering in silence while downstairs there seems to be a party, music slowly drifted into the room. It was awhile before another guy I recognized from the warehouse came to whisper something to Bilya. He smiled as he listened before turning to us and saying " it's time to go girls ! Line up and follow him, I'll be right behind you so don't think of doing anything stupid" he looked right at me when he said the last part, I didn't waste my time glaring at him.i steadied myself and found my courage, no matter what happened out there I'll never let this men break me.
If we were about to enter a wolf's den, I didn't want to smell of blood before the fight. Keeping my shoulders back, I strode past Bilya and fell into step with new guy. Silently, I followed our shepherd and led the sad train of slaves down the corridor, into the hallway, and down the stairs.
There, commotion welcomed us with sounds of conversation, masculine laughter, and softly played music.
It'd been so long since I'd heard music or felt the warm commotion of dinner that I lost myself,Forgetting my need to remain aloof and untouched, I slammed to a stop. My forgetfulness earned me a swat to the side of my head as New guy shoved me forward.
I stumbled for the first time since this morning as I fell into the room which was tastefully decorated and screamed of opulence and indulgence.
Eyes locked onto me from all corners of the room.Hungry eyes,Mad eyes,Lust-filled, terrible eyes. All peering from there seats. Funny enough I recognized a few faces, some of the richest men and most powerful politicians in the country.Men I only saw on TV and would never in my life have imagined ever being in the same room as them were staring at me like a juicy steak they want a bite of. A couple of kwarori I couldn't recognize were also present.
