Chapter 4: taking care of Muggshot and a little date with Carmelita

A/n: hello my fellow readers here is the next chapter to this story now I just recently did a legend of Zelda story which got me thinking after I finish that story I was thinking of doing a female Spyro x male reader x Cynder story which the reader will have dragon slayer magic let me know what you guys think and now let the story begin.

3rd pov

after some time Sylvia managed to find all the keys and opened some safes to collect what parts of the pages Muggshot has and a run in with Carmelita. she used the keys to unlock a lever. she then pulled the lever opening up a door that was hidden behind a giant door way of Muggshot's head. Sylvia makes her way to the door which turned out to be an elevator which she took to Muggshot's penthouse. once Sylvia reached the penthouse she runs out of the elevator to face Muggshot head on.

Muggshot: what? my boys have been yapping about some big mysterious broad running cracking skulls and, and this is it?! your the monkey wrench in my operation? some scrawny rat with a stick...wait a second...I've seen that stick before

Sylvia: maybe when my father knocked your block off with it.

Muggshot: your father?! wow, your a Cooper? you know that thingus  raccamagoocus had a lot of nice pictures but way too many big words.

Sylvia: so you don't mind just handing it over?

Muggshot: what are you kidding?! you break into my place-

????: well technically she wasn't the only one.

just then Y/n appears from dropping down from the vent in the upper section of the penthouse landing next to Sylvia.

Y/n: sup what did I miss? 

Sylvia: not much but I'm glad you made it.

Muggshot: great now I got two people breaking into my home. but this time I have a human here.

Y/n: *points ace of spades at Muggshot* I'm not just any human Muggshot. plus I've got some evidence to put you away.

Muggshot: why you little- wait that gun I know I've seen it somewhere before. ah now I remember it belonged to a human much older than you I must say for a human he's a good gunslinger. let's see if you can do the same!

Muggshot then get's up using his large arms to move around as his legs dangled in the air. once he was in the area around the three became arena like as wall's came up with large crystals along with mirrors. Muggshot pulled out his guns firing in the air Sylvia runs around hitting the mirrors while Y/n distracts Muggshot with the two in a gun fight with Mugshot trying to shoot Y/n as he dodges and fires back hitting Muggshot. but he was able to shrug off the shots since the rounds Y/n shot were stun rounds once Muggshot tries to shoot Y/n but Sylvia hits the last mirror lighting up the crystals destroying Muggshots guns.

Muggshot: agh my beautiful guns are destroyed. good thing I have a spare up stairs.

Muggshot then goes back to his original seat as a lift takes him to an upper level Sylvia and Y/n take the lift behind them to the same level. once they get there Muggshot then uses his spare guns as shoots at Sylvia and Y/n who shoots at the bullets making them collide Sylvia then goes to hit the mirrors but Muggshot was smart this time making sure to not let her. but Y/n was covering her by either rushing Muggshot firing stun rounds at him or using his cane sword in it's cane form which did some damage but not enough as both Y/n and Muggshot point their guns at each other. but Sylvia hit the last mirror doing the same thing to Muggshot's last guns he then goes back to his lift going up another floor as Y/n and Sylvia followed Muggshot using the other lift. once they got to where Muggshot was at he was in the middle of a chandler Sylvia then jumps heading towards the mirror in font of them while Y/n jumps heading towards then left one as Muggshot was focused on Sylvia Y/n managed to get to the mirror and rotated it. then Y/n shot at Muggshot with the stun rounds once they hit Muggshot turned to Y/n and started to shoot at Y/n who used the mirror as cover one by one Sylvia hits the mirrors while Y/n kept Muggshot distracted. once Sylvia hits the last mirror it destroys Muggshots guns and Y/n hit Muggshot with his stun rounds managing to knock him down defeated.

Muggshot: dis is impossible two little pipsqueaks like you two. beating a big strong bruiser like me? it ain't right! you want all of that stupid picture book. your gonna have to go down to Haiti and cross paths with Mz Ruby and then believe me you don't to be you.

Y/n: well that takes care of him Sylvia you get the pages of your book and I'll cuff Muggshot.

Sylvia: thank Y/n I better get what I came for and get out of here before Carmelita arrives.

Sylvia then gets the last bit of pages Muggshot had which were about her gun slinging ancestor Tennessee Kid Cooper. once she has them she makes her get away while Y/n cuffed Muggshot and Carmelita comes in with some other officers.

Carmelita: Y/n where's the Ringtail?

Y/n: just missed her but she made my job easier in cuffing Muggshot. better than nothing am I right?

Carmelita: *giggles* true let's get him behind bars.

once they take Muggshot out of the building as the other officers take him to prison the reporters take pictures of the two as the city residents are now safe from Muggshot and his goons.

Y/n's pov

Y/n: well Carmelita you want to get some food before we have to head back to Paris?

Carmelita: *playful smirk* oh Y/n are you asking me out on a date?~

Y/n: wh..what..i mean... uh-

Carmelita: *laughs* easy their Y/n it was a joke. but yes I would like that.

we then took our leave heading to a restaurant to get some food. once there the waitress while we wait for our food we talk and joke about somethings after awhile the waitress came back with our food. as we eat we then exchange small talk until she brought up something.

Carmelita: Y/n when you got to Muggshot did he say anything about ringtail's next target by any chance?

Y/n: yeah he brought up a name and the place that she might be in.

Carmelita: what was the name?

Y/n: he said Mrs. Ruby and that she is in Haiti. that's what I heard at least.

Carmelita: Haiti...that will take awhile to form a squad and get there.

Y/n: want me to go on ahead to Haiti to see what I can find and Ruby's location?

Carmelita: I guess that would be the best...just be careful please I don't want to lose a partner.

Y/n: don't worry Carmelita I'll be careful not only I have my skills as an assassin. but I also plan on keeping my promises.

Carmelita: thank you Y/n.

with that as we finished our food I payed the bill  we would head for the air port but their closed since it's already late at night. so we decided on staying in a hotel until the air port opens for us to go back to Paris once we get to the hotel the only room available is a single bed room which he chose to stay in I was about to go sleep on the couch.

Carmelita: you don't have to sleep on the couch you know?

Y/n: are you sure cause I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable.

Carmelita: yes I'm sure I can trust you in the same bed as me.

I was about to decline but the look in Carmelita's face is practically saying "I won't take no for an answer". I sighed and just join her in the bed  one we got in the bed I was allowing my self to sleep. but I then felt some weight on me I look to see Carmelita sleeping on my cutely snuggling against me so I wrapped my arm around her then sleep.
