It was cold Draco couldn't feel his hands, it was his and Harry's wedding anniversary, yet not sight of Harry.
You would be panicking right? If you husband wasn't home at 10:28 pm at night, when he left at 7:30am, but not for Draco...
This was normal for him, he sighed he had sat down for the dinner he made at 5:30 when Harry said he would be home.
he just got up and put it his the bin and Harrys he heated up and put back on the table with a heating charm for him, Draco just got an apple and ate that since Harry probably wasn't going to be home until midnight he was stupid to believe Harry would come home early.
He took off the nice clothes and makeup he was wearing and got dressed into one of Harry's T-shirts which hung off him, Harry should go work at 8:00am be back by 5:00pm, but no Harry liked to do over time.
He went back downstairs and waited until midnight came, nothing there wedding anniversary was over and Harry hadn't said a word to him just a text

Another empty promise... Draco just decided to put roses on the table with a card and lots of presents for Harry to open when he got home. He smiled and went upstairs and put his hair in a bun and got into bed he got his pillow a cuddled up to that since Harry wasn't here, he did that often.
He heard the front door open "Draco? My love are you wake" Harry said knowing he fucked up, Draco didn't want to talk to him But then again he really wanted to talk to his husband, He was tired so it would only be for a little bit, got the covers wrapped around him and hugged the pillow going downstairs
"Heya... what's up? Have a good day at work?" Draco said sadly, hearing Draco talk like that broke his heart Harry went up and hugged him feeling horrible knowing this was all his fault
"I'm sorry.. I really am I swear didn't mean it... I just-" Harry began but Draco cut him off
"You can save your excuses, Dinner is on the table, it's your favourite, your presents and stuff are on the coffee table... it's late I should probably get to bed... happy anniversary Harry" Draco said sadly and kissed his cheek walking upstairs going to his bedroom
Harry was furious with himself he ate dinner and opened his presents reading the cards and the notes, he wished he had come home sooner he went up to the now quietly crying Draco got dressed and laid down next to him hugging him "I'll try my best to come home more, I'll even stay home tomorrow"
"Promise?" Draco asked looking into Harry's eyes
"I promise" he kissed Draco lightly and softly "go to sleep love" draco nods and buried his head into the raven haired boy chest slowly going to sleep
(In the morning)
Draco opened his eyes a looked around. no Harry. The house was quite, he looked at the clock 7:38 he probably just missed Harry leaving, he got up got showered then went back in his room and got dressed then went downstairs
He looked around and everything on the table was cleaned up " well at least he cleaned up before he left.." he said sighing sadly to himself
He went into the dining Area to see if Harry cleaned in there as well , yep all done.
but there was breakfast on the table, not just one, but two. "Sleep well love?" Harry Said wrapping his arms around draco from behind
"Huh? Oh Harry, I thought you left" Draco smiled and turned around hugging a him
"I made a promise I'd try, I made you breakfast, and we have a whole two weeks to ourselves" Harry said smiling
"Oh thank you Harry you have no much idea how much this means to me" Draco said smiling "I love you so much"
"I love you too Dray, now let's go eat? Then we can do anything you want these two weeks are all about us, but mostly you" Harry chuckled and pulled a chair out for his husband, Draco kissed him and sat down and Harry sat across from him they laughed and joked through out breakfast with kisses and little play fights and teasing until they finished breakfast. Which ended to a trip to the bedroom
