Niall's POV
Bella was helping me walk to the nurses office. I am very lucky she was there, if she wasn't, I may have ended up in the hospital. I smiled at her as we walked into the office. As we walked in, the nurse rushed towards me.
"What happened?" She asked worridely. I didn't know what to say. I didn't want anyone to know about how I am bullied, so I hesitated for a minute. Luckily, Bella knew what to say.
"He.... tripped in the hall on his way to class." She answered quickly, covering for me.
I smiled and mouthed, "Thank you." She nodded, smiling a bit.
"Well let me take a look and make sure everything is ok." The nurse answered, leading me to a cot and had me sit down. She looked a my nose, which until that moment, I didn't even know was bleeding. I held a tissue up to it as she put ice on my eye. Apparently I had a black eye too. Just great.....
Bella's POV
I stood next to Niall as the nurse made sure he was ok. After he was fixed up, he was allowed to leave the nurses office. By this point, it was lunch. I walked into the lunch room with him. I knew that no one would want to be caught dead hanging out with me, being the new girl, so I sat down at an empty table in the corner of the room. I sat down with my lunch and started eating quietly. I looked up to see Niall sit down next to me.
"Hey!" I brightened up as he sat down.
"Hey! Why are you sitting all alone?" He asked me, sounding concerned.
"I normally have, and then also, I'm the new girl."
"What does it matter that you're new?"
"I just figured no one would want to be seen hanging out with me." I said sadly.
"Well I do, so don't say that." He answer back, smiling crookedly.
I laughed, "Well you will be the first!"
Nialls POV
I was so happy to have someone to talk to and sit with at lunch. I realized I barely knew anything about Bella except her name.
"So, I barely know anything about you. Tell me a bit about yourself?" I asked her.
"Well, there's relly not much to know about me. I'm pretty much an open book." She said, smiling a bit.
"Awwww come on! There's gotta be something you can tell me! Do you have any siblings or anything like that?"
"Well I have a brother and a sister. Enough about me, I'm boring. Tell me about you."
"I mean, there's really not much that I can say either!" I said back.
"Awww come on! There's gotta be something you can tell me!" She said, imitating my Irish accent and mimicking me from earlier.
I laughed loudly. "Very nice accent!"
Bella's POV
I giggled, having fun and not worrying about anyone else for the first time in forever. I wasn't worrying about anyone else other than me and Niall.
"Niall? Would you maybe like to come over and hang out after school?" I asked nervously.
"I'd love to!" He smiled wide and we continued talking.
