1 Year Later After Chapter 7*

Head Of Council Clover Ebi's POV*

One of our witnesses in the Ghost Rider investigation said, "Like the rode cracked open. He came in, so many dead. Even worse came after. The Atlas Government attacked. No mercy in the villages. My parents tried to run..." and she started crying and couldn't talk anymore.

I said, "The world has been so caught up and terrified with what The Ghost Rider can do, that... no one has asked what he should do. Let the record show that this United Committee holds him responsible for all the death in Kuroyuri Village.".

Our witness said, "He'll never answer to you. He answers to no one. Not even I think, to the gods.".

Josh Branwen's POV*

The kids were on a field trip today meaning Robyn and I had the place to ourselves.

I entered the house and said, "Hey.".

Robyn was sitting at the table and said, "Hey.".

I said, "I'm gonna cook dinner for you.".

Robyn tried to smile, but then scowled and said, "They held hearings about what happened in Kuroyuri. They're saying that you killed those people.".

I said, "I don't care. I don't care what they're saying because it's not true.". 

Robyn said, "Well, think about what did happen to Kuroyuri then?".

I said, "I didn't kill anyone if that's what they think. If that's what you're saying.".

Robyn said, "No, I'm saying I want to understand what happened so I can protect the man I love.". 

I sat down with her at the table and Robyn said, "I just don't know if it's possible.".

I asked, "Don't know if what's possible, sweety?".

Robyn said, "For you to love me and be you know who.".

I leaned in and kissed her.

Elsewhere In Vale*

Ember Fall's POV*

I saved the Faunus women from the criminals and was hiding in plain sight in the corner as the cops came in and went downstairs to save the women as I did my thing and beat the guy who kept those girls as prisoners.

I punched him hard enough for him to groan loudly before I burned my insignia into his neck knowing he'd die in prison from it then I got out of there before the cops could find me.

A Little While Later In The Morning In The Bunker*

I saw Richard still working and I asked, "You're still working? You're getting old, Richard.".

Richard said, "Comes to us all at some point, Ember. So, last night was productive?".

I said, "No. He knew nothing. This is the man who knows things. Escaped when Tyrian Callows did two years ago, James Ironwood. He's Atlesian. He's based himself out of Vale. Weapons and human trafficking, and research.".
