After the promise which Shri Ram gave to his guru. Raja Dashrath with other his mantris decided that he would declare his eldest son Lord Ram as his successor. Most of the rishis and other sebha sad agreed to this. It was declared that lord rama will be the new emperor after Dashrath . By the time Maharshi Vishvamitra came to take help of lord Ram to kill the victorious Dian Tadka lord agreed to go with him Lakshman ji also decided to go with him to help him.
By the next day evening they were in the forest were Tadka lived. Vishvamitra told him that she had to be killed in the day time. The war continued for three days after that with the help of Bremhastre he killed her . In the evening at the time of sun set.
Then all of them went ahead in the way they came to ashram of maharishi Gautam there everything was frozen except a plant of Tulsi ji which stoud outside his house.
Prabhu asked Vishvamitra the reason reason for it he told him that It is the story of the king of god's Indra and a sanyasi Gautam as the Indra has cheated with her and told him that being a god he should free her from the shrap which she had got and being waiting for him more tha hundred years in the form of stone. Ram ji asked the solution and he told that he had just to put his leg on the stone. It freed her from her shrap and then they went ahead and reached Mithila.
