Elena's (POV)
My eyes snap open immediately from the nightmare I had. I sit up in my bed and notice that I'm covered in sweat and my sheets are soaked. I rub my eyes and look to the right where my clock sits on top of my night stand. It's 3:00am in the morning I know it's useless to try and go back to sleep so I don't. Instead I sit up straight and rest my back on my headboard, I reply the nightmare in my head to see if I can make sense of it.
(Nightmare)
My body is sore all over and I can't
see anything. I twist my arms and my wrist to see if I have any broken bones, so far so good then my move my legs and ankles. Everything seems to be in place but I noticed that I'm chained to some type of wall or something. I close my eyes and try to remember what happened to me but my memory is all hazy and disorientated. I keep my eyes closed and try to reach out to my wolf but my connection is blocked. “Victoria can you hear me"? No response whoever captured me must have put a concentrated shot of wolf bane inside of me. I yank on the chains that bounds me to the walls and a searing pain shots down my wrist. They must have drowned the chains in wolf bane too. Damn it whoever did this was prepared. I curse myself for being so helpless. Then I hear something it's faint but I can hear it. It sounds like footsteps then a voice that I barely recognize says “it's time my love".
(End of nightmare)
That's when I awoken from the nightmare. I look at the clock again and it's 3:30am. I lay back down and eventually let the darkness take me back to sleep.
