That demon really fucked us over. Life had never been so hard in these parts. I mean yeah we were already living in poverty and trying to make a living in the Milk factories.
But when all the milk vanished, that was it for the earth. I don't think things will ever go back to normal.

"Tobias get the heck out of dreamland. We still need to go that freaking pool before nightfall!" a voice from outside hollered.
"Is it possible for you to wait five minutes without being so bitchy?!" I replied, "Jeeez!".

My name is Tobias Louis. I'm 16. I'm not certain why my author wouldn't really give you guys a description on how I look, its probably irrelevant, but one thing I can tell you is that I'm black and my teeth are extra white.
The ogre screaming outside is my roommate, Joe. He's 17 and would eat anything you offered to him, but hes not fat in anyway, which is still a mystery to me.

We stayed in an abandoned rich people's place. Well it wasn't exactly abandoned, when we arrived after the milk vanished, there were 3 dead bodies in the house and most of the good stuff had gone. The owners of the house had obviously been mugged but oh well, one man's death is another man's loot...or something.
The only thing left behind was this dog, a Lhasa apso, I could have sworn it was a mop head without a handle coming towards me when I first came, before I saw teeth and barking. So we decided to keep it in a room and prolly eat it later.
However along the line, I kinda got attached to the thing, so I kept him and named him Bentley. Don't question my choice of name thank you very much.
We had been in the rich people house for 5 months now, living off of the food stuff that the muggers obviously missed in a basement.
There were also stowaways that came looking for somewhere to stay, we took them in, and limited the amount of food items we brought out so it seemed we had little to no food. It did the trick, they never stayed more than two nights before moving on to another house to beg.

"Why does it always take you so long to get dressed? Literally nobody is looking at you!" Joe was still worked up on the fact that I was in my thinking space for too long.
"Well I'm here now, so you don't have to get worked up about anything! Besides what's the worst that could happen?" I replied.
"Do I need to remind you bro?" Joe asked.

Maybe a little bit of information I forgot to add here. Ever since Maxle's disappearance with the milk, the supreme leader tried everything to find him and get back all his possessions from a bet gone wrong and also the precious milk.
This went south because Maxle realized he was being sought after and he released these minions to kill anyone who was out to find him. Think about big scaly lizards that have no back legs, but human like hands that are basically talons they use for crawling and clawing. They're incredibly fast creatures and they only come out at night. Joe and I have never encountered one but we have seen one. That night, a woman was frantically running for a house to stay in, I rushed to the door before Joe stopped me and then Bentley snarled which was weird cause I taught him to be friendly with people.
Then I looked again and I saw the green scaly monster at her back, moving very quickly.
She tried to jump to a tree, but the demon sliced at her back leg mid air, which brought her down with an ear piercing scream.
You know how in movies, the victim starts begging and saying "No please don't, please I can't die"? Well there were no final speeches here, the minute she hit the ground, the minion monster pounced on her and started clawing and eating. In all my life, never had I ever seen something so barbaric. What really scared me was when it was done, it turned around to look directly at me, like it could sense me there or something. I stayed standing in that position till it was morning. Joe had to carry me to the bedroom, it's a memory i can never forget.

"Fine, lets just get this over with and get back home before its nightfall." I said. Luckily for us, this "apocalypse" still had technology in it. I mean i know the milk went, but if technology, WiFi and social media vanished too, I'm pretty sure I'd be dead by now.
