Joe

There is no way on this dying earth that these kids are going to survive the plan I have in store for them. They made me pee my pants, I'll make them shit themselves. I swear it.
And then there's Toby, that backstabbing snake. He was in on all this and then he came to help me out like he had no idea. Oh I'm going to get them back big time.

I finally turned off the shower, starting to get irritated by standing too long. If I had it in my power, I'd create a chair in that freaking place. That's when I heard Joel and Jeremy at their necks. As usual.
Joel is like a ball of raw energy and his mouth is literally a blade. Jeremy on the other hand can be a handful himself, but most of the time, he's calm and collected. I would -ship them, but I don't know anyways. They're both 17, they both have similar interests but they're so opposite in character.
It's not my business anyways.
I took the fresh shorts and tank top Joel left for me on the toilet seat, classic Joel, you'd never catch him without shorts on.
And I walked out of the guest bathroom.

Where's Toby and his playmate Bentley anyways?

"I actually resent you. Like from today henceforth you mean nothing to me." Joel must say this all the time, till he gets a whiff of Mac&Cheese.
Is Bentley barking outside? "Yo guys chill for a minute." I told them.
"Oh so what, you could take your time to mess up my kitchen floor again. You disgusting-" Joel stopped mid-sentence. He turned to face Jeremy  then both turned to face me with confused expressions on their faces.

"Is Bentley barking right now?" Jeremy asked silently. With that I didn't hesitate. I ran for the back door. Oh God Toby please be safe. I can't lose you. Not today. I must have been so blind with fear and anxiety, I ran into the door and broke through, I didn't even know I could do that.
I was in front of the pool, but where was Bentley? Where is Toby?
Then I heard Bentley bark on my right where the outdoor bathroom was and I turned there.

I don't think i can explain what i was looking at. It was Tobias and Tobias. Huh?
I heard Jeremy and Joel come out of the house with concern on their faces.
Well that was till Joel saw the door and gave me a death stare. I didn't even care at that moment, I was still lost as to how there were two Toby's.

"Toby?" I called out. The two Toby's looked my way. One was on the ground totally creeped out (that must be my Toby) and the other one looked back smugly with a wicked intention or something. Then there were his eyes, green eyes. What the heck am I looking at here. "You have a twin brother?" I felt betrayed. He should have told me.

The two Toby's opened their mouths in disbelief at my question however. I mean just own up to it right. "And yes, the ever irrelevant Joseph."  Standing Toby spoke. It didn't sound like a  natural sound. It was like three voices in different pitches speaking at once. I was transfixed. What is this thing?

"Well without further interruptions," he looked towards Bentley who was still growling in the corner " I have other worlds to terrorize and places to destroy. This form is quite annoying to assume. Humans have a very complicated body structure."

No way. It couldn't be. The gasp from Joel behind me confirmed my thoughts. This wasn't just any demon. This was Maxle. The reason why we were in this mess. I was to stunned to move, something that i have issues with, shock that is.

"Why are you here and what do you want?" That was Jeremy. There was no fear in his voice. He can be incredibly bold for someone that's quiet most of the time.

"What do you think Jeremiah. I have an offer for Tobias here, but maybe he's not cut out to save your planet?" Maxle shrugged. Whatever it was that he had up his sleeves, it sure wasn't going to be that easy.
Save our planet? Milk? The life source.
