KYLEE
The past few days have been composed of me and Joe doing embarrassing stuff at the mall. Like yesterday we both started singing Let It Go in Chinese in Robinsons Magnolia, a mall in our country. It was even more embarrassing due to the fact that a lot of Chinese visited that mall and we weren't that sure if what we were singing/shouting was correct. Nevertheless, it was good vlogging material for my small YouTube channel, It'sKyleeHere. I haven't posted a vlog in ages because I was busy studying so now I am trying to post as much vlogs as I can before summer ends.
As soon as I finished editing and posting my vlog, I started getting ready for my overnight trip with Joe. We are heading to Tagaytay tomorrow with Kuya and Dad. If your wondering where Mom is, well Dad said that she is in a business trip in China. Joe's aunt couldn't come either because of her job.
Tagaytay is a plateau in the Philippines and we love going there because it's colder than the hot city. There is a country club there called Tagaytay Highlands where you can do a lot of sports. Nothing much really but I love the weather.
---
"YOU SEE ME ROLLIN'!" I scream/sing as I pulled the car window down. It was very windy since we were going up the plateau.
"Stop singing Kyles before I throw you out the window," Kuya calls from the front seat. I rolled my eyes as Joe and my Dad chuckle.
"1.2.3.4... That's what she said!" I started singing a Janoskians song since I knew it would irritate Kuya. He grunts loudly, waiting for me to stop. As the annoying younger sister I am, I continue singing one Janoskians song to the next. Lucky for me, he left his backpack in the trunk so he couldn't put on his earphones. Joe eventually started singing along which irritated Kuya even more. Our voices didn't really blend well together considering Joe's was really deep and mine was a bit high.
Joe and I finally kept quiet once we reached the country club and Kuya sighs in relief. My dad dropped the three of us here while he checked in our hotel. Kuya immediately headed off to the spa saying he needed a good massage. On the other hand, Joe and I went to the game room.
"COD!"
"NBA!"
"COD!"
"NBA!"
Joe and I have been arguing on what game to play for about five minutes now. I wanted to play Call of Duty while he wanted to play NBA2K15. I am honestly average on both but I preferred COD better. We kept arguing until finally we settled on NBA after a damn coin flip. He had to dibs on heads!
I selected Oklahoma City Thunders while he selected Golden State Warriors. Soon the heated game began. Whenever I played defense I'd just press random buttons and I would magically steal the ball. However, when I played offense, let's just say I try my best to shoot. I also tried cheating a few times by nudging Joe but he was still good. In the end, he won 102-96.
Fair enough!
Dad didn't arrive yet so we played COD and this time I won fair and square. Kuya then came in and decided to join us. He made things awkward though by sitting in between me and Joe and sending occasional death glares at him. I honestly don't know why he hated my best friend so much. Joe is an awesome best friend. Maybe Kuya sees something in him that I don't.
"So... um... You want to play COD with Joe?" I asked Kuya as I handed the controller to him. He shook his head and continued glaring at Joe. I was a bit irritated on how protective my brother was so I pulled Joe out of the game room hoping Kuya wouldn't follow. He didn't, because he knew how irritated I was.
"Wanna do some sports instead?" I asked him and he simply nodded his head.
When my dad called to tell us that we could already stay in the hotel, Joe and I had played table tennis, badminton, bowling and basketball. Which of course, he won everything.
We walk to the hotel room together, Kuya ignoring us the whole time. Dad unlocks the door with the card key and we all take a good look at the apartment-like room. I noticed that there were two bedrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a living room and one bathroom.
One damn bathroom! I can't share a bathroom with three rowdy boys! Ugh.
"So who's sharing rooms with who?" Kuya asked.
"Kiefer and I then Kylee and Joe can share the bedroom with two beds," Dad commanded. Kiefer grunted because he didn't want me near Joe. Heck, he only came to this vacation because my dad promised him he can go anywhere he would like for three days after this.
Later that night, Joe and I planned to film a Q&A for my channel because I wouldn't be vlogging for another year or so after summer since I decided to focus on my studies. We asked Twitter for questions using the hashtag '#askJYLEE' and after we found a few, I set the camera on the tripod I brought along and press 'Record'.
"HIIII it's Kylee here with my best friend Joe for my first and probably last in quite a long time, Q&A!" I greeted at the camera where about half a million would be watching. "So for today, Joe would be reading the questions and I will answer unless the question is for him or for both of us," I explained.
"First question, what college will you go to?"
"I'm not saying exactly where but I got a scholarship to a good school in USA!" I said enthusiastically.
"Smart ass," Joe muttered. I would probably edit that out later on.
"Next, why will you stop vlogging?"
"Studies. I want to focus on my studies," I said seriously. "However, I will be missing this vlogging thing a lot!'
"Um.. Are you and Joe dating?" Joe scoffed at the question because he sees me as a best friend-that's it. On the otherhand, my heart starts pounding rapidly since I have a small crush on him. "No," I answer flatly without elaborating.
"Best friends, that's all we are! I wouldn't date Kylee because
a) she wouldn't be a good girlfriend and b) she's moving away soon. Long distance relationships don't work out most of the time," Joe stated lightly. I felt a sharp pang in my heart though I knew he was joking. My crush for four years just rejected me in public.A couple more questions were asked before I ended the video. I packed the tripod and decided that I would edit that video soon. We get ready to sleep, Joe on one bed and me on the other. I sigh as I lay down on the soft hotel mattress and I'm out like a light.
