and that concludes the end of the tragic story of yeosang and seonghwa!

i wasn't initially going to write this book because after "star 1117" i was debating whether i'd write a "psycho"; seongsang fic where yeosang is a yandere but the psych major in me was a little hesitant and then there's "through the night"; which is a jongsang fic where yeosang is a vampire.

but episode 12 of 2Gether happened which is the sole reason that this got written.

and much like what i did with "stay", i'm going to list out all of my plans/drafts that did make it to the story after being tweaked and some that i completely disregard.

→ there were three possible endings for this story and none of them were going to be seonghwa and yeosang ending up together

→ so from the start, there was no possibility of seongsang being endgame 

→ here's the endings that i've thought of:

1. the cliffhanger ending [the one that got published]

2. the forgotten anniversary [the original break-up chapter that i wrote]

3. the accident [reminiscent of hyunjin and yeosang's break-up but that's reserved for the prequel]

→ the first draft i wrote wasn't the introductions but rather them breaking up

→ johnny suh was supposed to be yeosang's fiance in the epilogue but then i re-read the story and realized that jongho got to know his name before seonghwa

→ hongjoong was also one of my choices to whom yeosang ends up with

→ i left out a touchy and sensitive topic in yeosang's past because it's something i don't like thinking about nowadays

→ yeosang was supposed to move in with seonghwa after their visit to jinju because he finds a cat and well, dorms don't really allow pets

→ it wasn't even supposed to be in a college setting but i figured it's easier for them to meet that way

→ woosansang ALMOST happened

→ seonghwa being so tied down to seongeun that it ruined most of his friendships and relationship with his family is based on real life [not me though] 

→ chapter 38 was supposed to take place in yeri and joohyun's house during a rainstorm 

→ seongeun was supposed to end up in seonghwa's band

→ i wasn't even planning on writing smut but then i listened to a LOT of nct's hoe anthems and it just happened

but of course, there's still the prequel about hyunjin and yeosang's relationship, i've also been looking forward to writing it because stories about innocent love/coming-of-age type of romance just have a special place in my heart.

again, thank you so much, i know this is like my 3rd seongsang fic and if i'm being honest, writing ateez ships fanfiction actually made me more productive in terms of writing because even before writing "stay" i had doubts that no one would like it because i started as a bts ships fanfiction and i don't know if someone had the chance to see my first seongsang fic but it was titled "in regards to love" because i like yuri on ice but i lowkey got insecure and unpublished it and ended up reforming the plot and that's how "stay" was written.

i'm still gonna keep writing ateez fanfics because its something i really enjoy nowadays, like, i get restless when i can't write lol mostly yeosang-centric fics because yeosang is my bias if its not obvious yet.
