Aaron was home. I knew the moment I herd the sound of the old, cold door shut. He'd been gone longer than usual this time, almost three days. Which meant I was lifeless for three days. I hardly had any friends, and I had forgotten the meaning of "family" over the years, so all I had was Aaron.

I was sitting in a old char in the kitchen when Aaron walked in.

"Ivory?" He said with uncertainty in his voice. I loved the way he said my name. It made me feel beautiful.

"Yes?" I replyed.

"I missed you." He picked me up off the chair, and held on to me like I was the most valuable thing in the world. We just hugged, in the most innocent sense. He slowly let go of me, and put his hands on my shoulders.

"All I did was worry about you. I was so stupid to leave you here all by yourself. Are you getting better? I should have called you. To hear that sweet, calm voice I adore."

I looked into his blue eyes. Why didn't he call? I took a few steps back. "I'm going to go for a walk." So I left the old apartment that seemed to be my only friend. He did not try to stop me, like he usually did. This made me think that he had done something wrong.
