After y/n read the paper, her face was pale, her mouth was wide open, and she had dropped her stuff on the floor.
Zach, her boyfriend, her best friend she met on her first day of college. He was a... hacker? But not just any hacker... he was part of Anonymous, the scary and secretive group of hackers that confronted the government. How did she not notice this? She knew he was very good with technology, and he always talked to her about all these weird conspiracy theories, but she never payed much attention to them.
"But wh-
"Shhh, don't say it, write it"
She wrote:
But why are you so busy all of a sudden? I've never seen you like this and I've known you for a few years now. And why can't we talk?
To that, he replied:
We haven't been active for some years, but we've had enough injustice from the government, so we have to resurface any day now. Also, we can't talk because our phones are controlled by the government, they have many key words like "anonymous" or "hacker" and if we say any of those we will catch their attention, and I"ll be busted. The fact that you know this now, puts you in danger, so don't say anything and you'll be fine.
"I'm sorry for treating you like that, I just got nervous, you don't deserve that, please forgive me" Zach said "can we go back to my place?"
"Fine, but no more secrets, promise me"
"Yes, yes, I promise. Thank you, I love you so much"
