"You up for recording tonight?" Albert asked me after the movie. Kirsten had gone upstairs to bed. "Kaden, my friend, can't do it today."

"Oh, so I'm the last resort?" I made a face at him.

Albert laughed. "Yeah, that's you. So are we going to or no?"

"Sure, why not." I got up and stretched, kind of excited for another night of gaming.

I went upstairs to my room, started up my computer, and called Albert through Discord. He answered and said, "How about we play Minecraft today? We never got to the other day."

"Okay," I said, my excitement starting to build up. I was also kind of nervous. I reminded myself that those comments meant nothing, but that didn't mean I was over them.

Albert helped me download Minecraft, and I made myself an account. He went to his room, and I waited for him to finish setting up.

I called him as a joke, and he picked up. Then, I put my mouth really close to the mic and said, "Hiiiiiiiiiiii."

After a second of hesitation, I heard the greatest ASMR anyone could have possibly made.

I laughed and said, "Oh my God, Albert."

"Join the server!" He said it in a high pitched voice.

I joined and saw his username. "AlbertIsFat? Yeah, Albert is fat, I'm glad we can agree on it."

He went up to me and hit me, making me lose a bit of my hearts. "Well, at least I don't have a nooby skin."

"How do I hit people?" I started hitting random buttons, making a very audible noise, as if I were trying to break my keyboard.

Albert started laughing and hitting me over and over again as I lost hearts and kept pressing stuff.

"Alright, Albert, stop! You win. Albert isn't fat."

"I'm not fat!" He said in his high pitched voice.

"I only have two hearts left."

"That's your fault, not mine."

"What are we even supposed to be doing other than beating each other to death?"

He chuckled at that a bit. "Kaden said the first thing you need to do is get some wood."

Albert taught me how to walk and get wood, and was even nice enough to let me hit him a couple times and give me an apple he found while cutting down the tree, so I could get my health back.

He taught me how to make a crafting table, sword, pickax, and some more stuff.

"Wait, wait, wait, Blair. Let's have a one-on-one fight." He said.

"I'm gonna kick your butt."

We got far from each other and Albert started to count down.

"Okay, three, two, one, GO!"

We started running at each other. I got the first hit, so I got the advantage. After a couple more hits, I managed to kill him off completely.

"WHAT!?" He screamed, and I started laughing. "THAT'S NOT FAIR, I LAGGED!"

"Yeah, sure, that's what they all say." I went over to the stuff he'd dropped.

"Wow, Albert, there's a lot of nice things you got here." I picked them all up, and he complained.

"Hey! Give that back!"

He respawned not far from where I was, completely empty-handed.

"Have fun getting all your stuff again." I ran to him and hit him with the stone sword. He tried to fight me with his bare fists, but I beat him again.

He screamed again. Loudly.

"You're gonna make me go deaf, man," I said, "Quit your crying and I'll give you your stuff back."

For the next twenty minutes we just goofed off. I found a group of houses, and Albert said it was a village. It had an "iron golem" that my foster dad obviously did not like.

"I want to hit him." When I asked why, he said, "I just wanna."

The thing killed him almost the second Albert attacked.

Finally Albert wrapped things up. "Okay, well that was playing Minecraft with Blair. Uhh... five million likes and we'll do it again."

He ended the recording. I got up went to his office. After knocking, I went inside and flopped onto the beanbag.

"I still haven't forgiven you for taking my stuff," he said, but I could tell he was joking.

"You almost killed my two minutes into the game." I looked up and saw what he was doing. Seeing my confusion, he answered my questions.

"I'm making you a YouTube account. You'll be able to make videos without me."

My mouth dropped. I knew Albert and Kirsten were both famous for their channels, and I liked being featured on Albert's, but having my own? That seemed like a lot of responsibility. And not to mention, stress. Albert told me he uploaded twice a day. He was stressed out a lot.

"Are you sure?" I asked, "What if they don't like me?"

He knew exactly who I was talking about.

"It's not that hard," he told me, "YouTube is my job, so I handle it more seriously. While you're still a kid, you can upload less. Also, who cares what they think? They're jealous." He shrugged and turned back to his computer.

I got up and went to the door before Albert said, "Oh, yeah, by the way. Blair?"

"What's up?"

"Pack some stuff for tomorrow. We're going to Vidcon."
