Alice and The Wonderland Asylum

I'm home

  I slowly opened the door to my house. I wonder if anyone is home? I closed the door and sneaked around the house. I guess no one is home... a sigh of relief slipped out. Mother probably would've been mad if she knew I left school again.

  "Alice, come upstairs."

  Listening to Rabbit I slowly climbed up the stairs. "What are you going to tell me about my parents?" I asked as I reached the top of my stairs. "Alice, dont you get it? They aren't your parents. They're preventing you from coming home." I was standing outside my door. "What makes you think that?" I pushed the door open, Rabbit was sitting on my dresser. I closed the door behind me then sat on my bed. He hopped off the dresser and sat next to me. "Alice, why do you think youre still here? They don't want you to go. Your parents are the only thing standing in your way to Wonderland. Why? The queen ordered them to prevent you from coming home."

  Rabbit hopped off my bed and back onto the dresser. He nudged a bottle on the dresser. "You see these? You've slowly stopped taking them which is why I was finally able to reach you. The queen gave these to your parents so you could forget about us, and Wonderland." He kicked it off the dresser spilling the pills everywhere. My heart dropped. "You're lying. How could they lie to me my entire life? They raised me... so I grew up with strangers?" Rabbit replied, "You're parents are nothing but the queens pets. If they didn't do what the queen asked, 'off goes their head.' You know how she works." "So what will happen now?" I asked. "Now things will go back to normal, but this time you'll get to see Wonderland. It just isn't the same anymore, not simce you left. The queen is quickly destroying Wonderland, she always knew that you were a threat. That's why she got her pets, your parents, to control your mind and your life. We need to act fast and get to Wonderland." I heard the front door open. "Alice? You home? You're teacher called." I looked at Rabbit, "What do I need to do?" Rabbit looked at the scissors lying on my desk. "You know what you need to do Alice. Help save Wonderland." I nodded. I hopped off the bed, grabbed my scissors and left my room.

  I creeped down the stairs, hiding the scissors behind my back. My mind was racing. I was raised by complete strangers? The queen's pets? I thought I actually meant something to them. I reached the kitchen. "Mom?" "She isn't your mom Alice."  I shook my head then looked at her. She just went grocery shopping. "Alice, I'm glad you're okay. The teacher called me again. Are you okay?" I nodded, looking down again I started thinking. This woman loves me though... right? "No, she doesn't." I looked up again. "You sure you're okay? You haven't been seeing things again have you?" Mom asked. Of course she would ask. "She doesn't care about you Alice. She only cares about herself and serving the queen." Holding back tears I replied, "No, I haven't. Why?" "Well it's important that you haven't been. If you do, I want you to tell me." She started putting up the groceries in the pantry. I gripped the scissors behind my back. I'm so confused. I don't know what to do.

  "We're running out of time Alice." Shut up. There's no way she's nothing but a pet... she has to love me right? "She doesn't." I bit my lip, shut up. Shut up. Shut up! "Mom, you love me right?" She looked back at me, confused, "Yes, of course. Why wouldn't I?" "She's lying Alice. Don't fall for this." I gripped the scissors harder, a tear tolled down my cheeck. "Alice, honey? What is it?" She started walking towards me. The light left the room. It looked like tar was pouring down the walls. All I could here was a static ringing noise. I covered my ears and started screaming and crying. This noise... it's deafening, but all so familiar. I heard my mother in the background... but her voice was changing and becoming distorted. It sounded deeper. I looked up, my heart stopped.

  It was her, but different. She had her hands on her head and started tearing... she ripped open her flesh down to her neck revealing another head, it was tall and white, slimy and veiny, and she had these big black eyes. It's mouth dropped open down to her chest, revealing long sharp teeth. I dropped my scissors in shock. "ALICE! What's wrong? What are you doing?!" The terrifying creature asked. I fell to the floor and crawled back. "Alice, you need to kill it!" I cried and cried. I loved this woman, but now? Who is this? What is love? Who am I? My life played back in my head, was my entire life really a lie? I snapped back to reality, I looked up and saw the creature on top of me, I pushed it away and quickly got up, it grabbed my ankle and I fell back on the floor. I quickly looked around, the scissors! I reached for it, the creature kept pulling me closer to her, the scissors were just out of reach. I turned around, I saw that my foot was next to its face. I quickly pushed myself back and kicked it in the mouth with all my force and pushed off of it and grabbed my scissors.

"You're a liar! You're nothing but a monster! A fucking pet!" I screamed at it. "Alice, calm down."  "Shut up!" I clenched the scissors in my hand, I moved quickly, I lungned towrds it and stabbed it in the mouth, over and over again. Black blood started pouring out of its mouth, it released screams of death. It was piercing my ears. It fell to the floor still screaming, "Alice! Why?!" I continued to stab it over and over again. It started gurgling and choking on its own blood and soon the body went limp. I was crying and screaming, still stabbing the creatures lifeless body. I stabbed it one last time in the chest. I crawled back and put my back up against the wall, all I could hear was my breath. I smelled nothing but death. "Rabbit!" I screamed. "I did what you told me to do! Now where's wonderland?" I heard rabbits voice, "You aren't done yet Alice."  I heard the door slam open. I looked towards the front door, my dad... no, another creature was here. Just the same as my mother. It let out horrified screams. "Alice! What have you done?!" It crawled quickly towards me on all fours, pounced on me, then pinned me on the ground. Drool was pouring out of its mouth. My heart was pounding, I have to escape.

I looked up at this horrible creature, I couldn't do anything but kick my legs. I looked at its face again, i had no choice. I move my face towards it, I let out a scream then I bit its nose as hard as I could. The creature pulled back and howled in bain, I pushed myself out from underneath it. I crawled towards the lifeless body on the other side of the kitchen then I pulled the scissors out of its chest. I ran to the other creature, still on the floor, and jumped on its back. It fell flat on the floor and started thrashing around, "Stop! Honey stop! Please!" It screamed. "See you in hell, you piece of shit." I whispered. I started stabbing it in the back, over and over again. I flipped its almost lifeless corpse over, it looked at me before the final blow. "I love you, Alice." My heart sunk. Its nothing but a lie. I plunged my scissors deep in its chest over and over again, the creature finally went limp.

I rolled off of the corpse and laid down next to it. I saw rabbit jump around the corner from the hallway. "Good job Alice. Some people will be here shortly to get you. Okay? They're going to take you to Wonderland." I heard beautiful sirens playing off in the distance. I smiled and let out a sigh of relief. Finally, everything is going back to normal.
