Patching The Wound

     Tiger sat in the treatment room with Madison and the doctor. "I have ran out of bio foam for the wound. Excuse me while I get another set for application." The doctor said. "No problem." Tiger said. The doctor left the room, and Tiger turned to Madison, as she was recovering. "I need information about the Insurrection." Tiger said. "The boss uses two important hideouts to influence Insurrectionist control in Pacifica." Madison said. "What does he want with Pacifica?" Tiger asked. "For right now, to brainwash people with the Knights program." Madison said.

       Tiger thought for a moment. "Where is the brainwashing location?" Tiger asked. "That's the part I do not know as of now." Madison said. "Great. So far, she has given us nothing useful." Mary said. Tiger turned to Mary. "You mind keeping your thoughts to yourself. I am trying to get valuable info." Tiger said. Mary was about to respond, when Tiger turned to Hasuto. "Hasuto, get her out of the room. I need to think without being interrupted." Tiger said. Hasuto escorted Mary out of the room, and Tiger returned his glance to Madison. "You didn't need to do that. She doesn't have to trust me, I'm helping you to destroy the Insurrection." Madison said. "She just needs to take some time. She's been through a lot." Tiger said. "Now, about the Knights program..." Tiger started off with.

        Mary and Hasuto stood in the halls together. "Hasuto, why do you trust that messenger? She's just as bad as the others." Mary said. "I don't trust her. However, she's valuable to us for her information. No doubt she knows how the boss functions and organizes his people." Hasuto said. "We're warriors. We're sent to kill high value targets."  Mary said. "We need to work efficiently, and obtain a way to carry out our mission the best way possible. Which is why we need her." Hasuto said. Mary thought for a moment. "Her and the other caused me grief. Caused my sister to die. I have no respect for them, no matter what." Mary said.

      Tiger left the room quickly. "Come on, Hasuto. There's one other messenger out there. This one we will kill." Tiger said. "What about me?" Mary asked. "You stay here. Make sure no one comes after Madison." Tiger said. Mary sighed. "Hey, keep your head up. We're only going to be gone for half an hour at most." Tiger said. Mary stayed quiet. "Come on, Hasuto." Tiger said. Hasuto nodded, and they went down the hall, and left the building.

      Madison watched Mary enter the room, and kept quiet. Mary set down her bow on the table, before sitting down. A long silence filled the air, before Madison broke the silence. "I know you don't trust me." Madison said. "And for good reason too. The Insurrection harm innocent people, and terrorize Pacifica and Handenia." Mary said. "Believe me, I didn't want anything to do with the Insurrection." Madison said. "What made you join them?" Mary asked. "They took my parents, killed my brother and sister. I fought back, but they bested me. Instead of executing me, they took me in." Madison said.

      Mary felt a slight bit of remorse for how she acted towards Madison. "My sister was killed, when we were defending our home from their onslaught." Mary said. Madison nodded along with Mary's words. The sound of yelling could be heard from the halls, and Mary stood up, grabbing her bow. The doctor rushed back into the room. "You've got to help us." The doctor said, in a panicked tone. "What's going on?" Mary asked. "Insurrectionists. A lot of them." The doctor said. "I'm on it." Mary said. "In the meantime, I'll apply the bio foam for her." The doctor said. Mary nodded, before rushing out into the hallway.

      Mary fitted an arrow into the bow, shooting at the two approaching swordsmen. The arrow pierced one of the swordsmen in the throat, and the second swordsman dodged the next arrow. The swordsman got close, and swung at her. Mary deflected the sword strike to the side with her bow, then slammed the blunt end of the bow into the side of the swordsman's head. The swordsman stumbled into the wall, and Mary used the spike of her bow to kill the swordsman.

      Another swordsman rushed Mary from the side, knocking her to the ground. The swordsman swung his sword down, and Mary clashed against the sword with her bow. In a sudden motion Madison stabbed the swordsman in the side with a sword she picked up. The swordsman groaned in pain, and Mary shot him in the head. Mary looked at Madison's wound as it was rapidly healing from the bio foam. The muscle tissue and flesh rapidly reformed, before the skin coated the wound and the scar faded away. 

       Madison helped Mary to her feet. "Thank you." Mary said. "You're welcome. We've got to protect this hospital until Tiger and Hasuto get back." Madison said. "Then let's get started." Mary said. Madison and Mary left the hospital, seeing many squads of swordsmen grouped around them. "Messenger, you conspire against us. You hold valuable information, and we cannot let you get away." Said the leader of the strike team.

       At once, the swordsmen began rushing towards the two. Mary shot two swordsmen in the head, before pummeling another with her bow. Madison dodged two swordsmen's attacks. Madison punched one of the swordsmen in the face, and slashed the second across the throat. Mary shot another swordsman in the chest, and Madison dodged away from another swordsman, allowing Mary to shoot the attacking swordsman in the throat. A swordsman approached behind Mary, and Mary swiftly stabbed the swordsman in the stomach with her bow spike.

        As Mary and Madison fought, Tiger and Hasuto returned. "Aw hell." Tiger said, unsheathing his two swords. Tiger and Hasuto sprinted towards the Insurrectionist onslaught. Tiger kicked a swordsman to the ground, before stabbing a swordsman in the throat. Tiger ripped his sword out of the corpse, before decapitating two swordsmen with both swords. Tiger dodged under an attack, and Hasuto threw a knife to kill the attacking swordsman. Tiger kicked a swordsman in the leg, stabbed two others in the chest, split another swordsman's head in half, before decapitating another swordsman. Two more swordsmen rushed at Tiger, and Hasuto threw two knives, getting two quick kills.

       The leader of the strike team rushed at Hasuto. Hasuto blocked the attack, and punched the leader in the face. Tiger rushed into the fight, bashing the leader to the ground with his shoulder. The leader stood up, blocking many of Tiger's attacks. The leader kicked Tiger away, and deflected an arrow from Mary. Tiger lunged back into the fight, stabbing the leader in the chest, and dragged his sword down the leader's body, ripping him open. Tiger kicked the corpse to the ground, before checking up to see if Madison and Mary were alright.

       Mary stepped forwards. "We're fine and okay. They just came out of nowhere." Mary said. "Maybe word got back, after I hadn't delivered the message, and they may have seen us." Madison said. "Perhaps. For next time. We've got to be more careful." Tiger said. "That being said, here's your new outfit. You need something that'll hide your allegiance to the Insurrection." Tiger said, tossing Madison a Skulls uniform.
