Bella's Sister

Chapter 12

I woke up the next morning with a pair of warm arms wrapped around me. I smiled to myself and
cuddled to Embry. He chuckled and kissed my head.

"I could get used to this," I said.

"Me, too," he whispered in my ear.

I turned around where I could see him.

"Time to get up?" I asked.

"Yelp."

I got up and went to take a quick shower, wondering what I could do today. I got out,
thinking about Embry and finished getting ready. I went back into my room and saw Embry on the
phone. I silently put my things back and waited for him.

"Do you mind if we hung out with Kim and Jared?" he asked.

"Sure," I nodded. "What are we going to do?"

"Yeah, it's OK," He hung up and looked up at me. "We are going to the movies."

"What are we going to see?"

"'The Last Airbender.'"

"Awesome."

As we made our way to the main house, idly wondering why Jared would call? He wasn't in Jake's pack, and he never seemed to miss us. I shrugged it off as him just wanting something to do, or him to ask about the wedding. That was one thing I was excited about. I looked down at my ring. The diamonds sparkled. The best thing about my diamond was that it was shaped like a heart. Ten minutes later, we made it to the main house. Embry went inside as a stayed behind saying that I thought I heard something. As soon as Embry closed the door, I was knocked down from behind

"Hey, that's not fair," I laughed.

"What's wrong?" asked Embry coming out.

"Nothing," I told him. "What are you doing here?"

"I told you that Stefan and I were coming today," Damon stood up and helped me up. I stood up and
hugged him. "Stefan had to help Alaric with a vampire problem in his new town, so he's there.
Just you and me."

"Oh, yeah I forgot. Babe, when are we leaving?"

"One hour," he growled.

"Chill your testosterones, Embry. He's just helping me with my powers. If you want, you can watch.
You're going to get bored though."

"I'll watch."

For one hour, Damon and I practiced compulsion. By the end of the time, Damon was my little
minion.

"Now, do jumping jacks," I said.

He did them, and Embry laughed. Without a second thought, I turned to him and made him to run
around Damon. I heard Stefan laugh. Holding, my compulsion, I hugged him.

"You wanna get back at Damon?" I asked/laughed.

"No, just stop," he smiled. I released my hold on Damon, but making Embry continue.

"Ok, Embry you can stop," I panted.

He stopped and started tickling me. I giggled uncontrollably. I looked at Damon for assistance, but
all he did is shrug.

"OK, OK, I give," I yelled. He kissed me, and as the kissed continued, I pressed him closer to me.
I heard Damon clear his throat and I blushed. "Sorry."

"It's OK," Damon said. "Well we got to go, so see you later. I'll text you with the next time I'm coming
over."

The rest of the day went smoothly. Embry didn't complain about anything Damon did. I guessed
he finally trusted him enough not to judge. I felt like I had a stronger hold on my powers and that
if need be, I could get myself out of any kind of trouble.
