'you are not alone' written every where on the paper was this. I quickly discarded it, just then my mother barged into my room with wide eyes. She looked disheveled as her bloodshot eyes stared at me.
"They're here! Quick hide what you can!" She went to grab my clothes and the first thing I thought of was 'You Are Not Alone', Two head of men in uniforms head went up to my room as I looked at them through the window. I quickly shut the window as my mom told me to stay calm. We made our way to the living room and sat. A blank white wall stared right back at us as we waiting for the shrilling sound of a doorbell. I could hear my mother's voice hitch with each second passing as the hairs on my neck stood. My eyebrows stiff as a board, while we waiting. I heard the words 'you are not alone' whispered in my mind, then an ear deafening sound made its way to my ears. My mother loosened up while I sat tense still staring at the plain white wall. The door creaked open, and sounds of boot colliding with the floor came to my senses. I looked down at my shoes, hair covering one side of my face. The men stood for a while, and made their way throughout the house. "Clear." shouted a man from the kitchen as he inspected the cabinets. When I was sure they had gone I raised my head, and found myself staring at a man with sharp features. His dark brown hair was shaved into a buzz cut, he had no expression on his face while he looked at me. My mother tensed up and I looked away. The door shut and I waited for a while with my head still down.
"Theye're gone." Said my mother, relief dripping in every letter. I still kept my head down, as images of the security man ran through my head.
"Go to sleep, we both need it." My mother left the room as I turned off the lights.
I had gained access to a computer. This was rare, and almost impossible, but I had waited my turn. I wasn't allowed to look up anything about America, Being put away, Myself, and educational things I haven't been taught. That wasn't really a problem because no one went to school here; We were smart on own. I checked my surroundings waiting for the security guards to move, when they did I typed in [You Are Not Alone]. I turned my head and the security were still out of my way. A page popped up with a symbol of an eye. I found this weird because I had not chosen a site yet. I scrolled down and saw a hieroglyphic of a young girl with piercing black eyes and black hair that reached her waist. I touched my hair and scrolled even more down. Bolded, something caught my eye. I read the bold phrase: Do not look into the eyes of one, but the soul. Below that was: Keep your eyes open. Gasping I closed the site and computer, as soon as a guard was making his way towards me. He gave me an odd look as I rushed outside into the cool air. I rubbed my hands together trying to understand the phrase, and also calming down from almost being taken away. I lifted my head and turned to look back the building. I saw a lady with piercing black eyes and long dark black hair. She stood among a field of bones and burnt down buildings. She stared at me and I felt a connection. I tore my gaze from her and walked on home; It was almost time for breakfast. As I walked I heard a raspy laugh, and turn my head to see the same old man shaking his head at me. He looked me in the eye, and said,"Look deeper." My eyes were widened as I ignored him and made my way down the street. I halted on the sidewalk and slowly turned around. The old man wasn't there, but a young man stood in his place with a hoodie on, and this man had familiar strong features.
