I WOKE UP with a painful head. Nilingon ko ang katabi kong kama but i was shocked in seeing my twin already dressed. Sinipat ko ang orasan at nakitang alas singko pa ng umaga. I groaned before sitting up on my bed.
"Where are you going early in the morning? Mamayang alas otso pa naman ang duty mo, ah." Anas ko sabay hikab.
Napailing nalang siya at pinakita sa akin ang isang violet na invitation. Mas idinilat ko ang mata ko at tinitigan ang piraso ng papel. And i saw, an international brand sign.
"Para saan yan?" I said asking about both the paper and his suitcase. Bumuntong- hininga siya sa akin at agad na namewang.
"It's from an overseas company. At alam kong tamad ka kaya naman ay ako na ang pupunta. You always reject things like this kaya naman kung hindi ako , ay ang secretary mo ang pupunta, Caleib. When will you be going to things like this? May mga magagandang opportunities sa gantong mga event." He blabbered. I just gestured him to do what ever he wanted saka naman ako humiga ulit.
I lazily placed both my hands on my hand and looked at him.
After fixing his tie he closed his suitcased and waved at me.
"Mag-ingat ka dito. Be healthy and please, by any means. Maglinis ka. Napakaburara mo naman kasi. I gotta go." He said.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go, whatever." I said mockingly.
Akmang isasara na niya ang pinto, when he popped his head and looked at me.
"Don't mock me you, idiot. Malay mo, baka doon ko pa makilala yung babaeng pakakasalan ko, and maybe the mother of my child. Bahala ka, bro. Kaya naman. Ciao." I just scoffed and went back to bed.
Bahala ka diyan.
MADISON wore a long maroon dress. It was in a tube style. It hugged her body well. Bukas nag sa gilid ng hita noon and the slits were sided with ruffles. I paired with a 6 inch heel with the same color and i let my hair flow. Kinulot pa ng kaunti ng dulo noon.
"Mommy, where are we going?" I looked at my baby who's innocently looking at me. I bended down and cupped my baby's cute and fluffy face.
He looked like a young man in his three piece suit. His hair was gelled. Mas lalo siyang pumogi.
"We're going to attend a party. You can meet your friends there too, baby." He nodded and smiled.
Nang makita niya si manong ay agad siyang umayos at tumakbo papuntang sasakyan. I picke up my purse and the invitation. Sumakay na kami sa backseat.
The ride there wasn't long but for a child, it would feel like hours kaya naman ay nakasimangot na si JM ng bumaba.
Manong opened the door and we were welcomed by flashes. Naunang bumaba si JM, napatawa pa ako. Impatient as ever.
Nagmistulang model ang anak ko sa paraan ng paglakad niya. When someone calls him he looks and flashes and he'll flash his ever dashing smile, and his dimple to add the charisma.
Sumunod ako and it was the same. Napatawa nalang ako. When i reached the venue ay agad kong nakita si JM na naglalaro kasama ang ibang bata.
Unupo ako sa nakaassign na lamesa. They greeted me when i reached the table and so did i.
The party started and evrybody was having fun. May mga nagperform pa. There were even magicians for the kids that attended party. I saw JM at the front kaya kampante na ako, i stood up to get some water kaso ay may nabangga ako.
"Sorry."
"Sorry." We uttered at the same time.
Nilingon ko ito at halos hindi ako makahinga. The face, the eyes, lips, nose and everything.
