Butterbeer

I made it out of the castle in no time while also managing to say hi to a few people on the way.
I walked down the path to Hogsmede and saw all the small shops that I loved.

I soon came up to the entrance of the Three Broomsticks. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
I walked in and saw Oliver sitting in a booth in the corner.
He looked up to see me and smiled.
I gave him a smile in return.

"He's been waiting for you honey"
One of the waitresses said as she passed by which made me blush a bit.
She smiled and walked on.

I headed over to Oliver and sat on the seat across from him.
"Hi"
I said and gave him a smile.
He returned it and also said hi.

"Thanks again for the cookies."
He said breaking the silence.
"Oh yeah you're welcome"
We smiled at each other and then I looked down at my lap for a while.

"Here you two go.."
Another waitress came up to our table and gave us our butterbeer.
"Thanks"
We both said and she smiled and walked away.

"Wow that's a lot"
I stated eyeing my big mug.
He laughed and took a sip.

"Ive actually never had butterbeer before"
I told him before taking a sip myself.

"Well...how does it taste?"
He asked me once I set it down.
"It's actually pretty good"
I smiled and licked the cream that was on my lips.
"I know right..it's great."

We talked for a bit while finishing our butterbeer.

"Well thanks for that"
I told him as we walked out of the mini building.
"Of course"
He answered and gave me a smile which made the insides of me melt.

"So uhh..it's still a little bit early and the sun is still up so do you wanna go for a walk or something...maybe go shopping at Honeydukes?"
He asked me blushing a bit.

"Sure...that sounds great"
I gave him a smile which he returned and we walked on.
We entered the candy shop. There were shelves filled with goodies from the floor to the ceiling.
Oliver grabbed a pack of chocolate frogs and I got some cauldron cakes.
I walked up to the register when Oliver stepped up and offered to pay.
I told him it's fine but he hesitated and did so.

"Wow..two treats in one night"
I teased him as we walked down the path to the lake.
"You're welcome"
He grinned.
"Thanks"
I gave him a cheeky smile and he laughed.
He then grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

I blushed and looked down at our intertwined fingers.
I looked up to see him smiling at me.
I looked away but smiled too.

We made it to the lake and sat on a fallen tree our hands still intertwined together.
"It's beautiful"
I said looking at the water glistening in the sunset. I always had a thing for nature.

"Just like you (y/n)..."
he said out of the blue. His face went the darkest shade of red I've ever seen and he looked away.
I giggled and thanked him blushing a bit too.
But really on the inside my heart was beating like a drum that I swear China could hear it.

After about a minute he looked back at me and I looked at him.
"I like you (y/n)....like I really really like you"

I was at a loss for words but I decided to scoot over closer to him and give him a hug which he gladly returned.
"Well I really like you too Oliver"
I said as I pulled away.
I looked down at the sand of the small beach type land and blushed a lot...more than ever.

He put his hand on my chin and pulled my head back up to face him.
The next thing I know he was kissing me.
I never thought I could blush more than before but well I did.

When we pulled away I gave him a confused look.
He noticed and frowned and looked away.
"Why me Oliver?"
I decided to ask him.
"Why would you like me?"

He looked back and at me and smiled.
"Well (y/n) you're a very calm and bright girl....and you're beautiful...just beautiful. Plus you're a good baker"
He said laughing at the last part.
His Scottish accent echoed in my head.
"And...you can make anyone smile with your happy mood and that's what I like about you...you're just quiet and happy"

I smiled brightly and he brushed my cheek with my thumb. "Thanks Wood"
I hugged him again and he kissed the top of my head.

After the hug which lasted for a while he stood up and grabbed my hand. I stood up too and we walked back to the castle.

As we walked through Hogsmede he stopped.
"Oh...umm...(y/n)...would you like to by my girlfriend...?
He asked grinning and scratching the back of his head because of shyness.
I nodded
"I would love you"
I gave him the brightest smile ever and he returned it.

After a while of talking and walking and then stopping to look at stuff and such we made it to the castle.
We walked through the portrait hole and into the common room.
There was a small fire in the fire place and Sophia sitting in a chair reading a book.

She looked up to see who entered and her eyes widened and a smile appeared on her face.
"Look who finally decided to come back"
She teased and I rolled my eyes.

"Well I'm gonna go up to my dorm...see you tomorrow love."
Oliver said and kissed me one last time.

"Good night Oliver"
I said back as he walked up the stairs to the boys dorms.

"Did he just....."
Sophia stood up and ran over to me and asked/screamed.

"Yeah he just did!!"
I said back happily and sat down on the couch with her.

"Soooooooooooo tell me what happened sister!"
She said eagerly.

"Well uhhh....we got butterbeer...then he bought me cauldron cakes...then we went by the lake...he told me he likes me....kissed me....and then a little while after he asked me to be his girlfriend...I said yes....made it back to the castle...he kissed me....and now we're here!"

"Ohmygaw he asked you to be his girlfriend!!"
She shook me carefully and I laughed.

"Yeah..."
I blushed.
She tried to scream but I covered her mouth before she could.
"People are sleeping"
I laughed and so did she.

"We should sleep too..."
she told me and I nodded.

We walked up to our dorm and got in bed.
"Night Soph"
I said.

"Good night Mrs. Wood"
She teased.

"Oh shut up..."
I told her and I heard giggles coming from her bed which soon turned into snores.

I grinned and soon fell asleep myself.
