"Tenma? Is he ok?" the purple haired girl asked worriedly. When you jogged back to school, you immediately searched for Coach Endou. Planning to explain your sudden tardiness, instead you asked for your friends wellbeing

'he was really down, I should have stayed and assured him that things were gonna be fine' you thought out of guilt.

You couldn't convince Tsurugi, you were sure that he was gonna come around eventually based on your limited knowledge of the plot. So you didn't worry about him.

"he'll be fine, Tsubaki" Coach smiled and ruffled your hair. "he told me about what happened" you only nodded in response. You checked the field, Tenma was practicing.

'he looks a lot better now' you smiled in relief

"now, how about you go and practice with them. Try shooting the ball or practice goal keeping" you gave another nod and walked towards Tenma.

"Tenma!" you called out.

He stopped dribbling and turned towards you. As you talked, he told you that he's gonna make a powerful hissatsu to match ultimate thunder.

Your face formed a proud smile and crossed your arms.

'that's my boy' you looked like him as how a proud mother would look at her son. This made you thought of your other family.

Home sickness hit you like a hard slap, as you've been suppressing those feelings.

Just by the thought that you'll probably never see them again hurts like hell.

"Sumire-chan? Hey are you ok?" you were pulled from your thoughts as you blinked and looked at Tenma

'The only way to go now is forward, it's ok that we'll miss them. But we can't let that distract us from what we have now' you thought, hoping to console yourself.
