The bell at the entrance chimes announcing the arrival of a customer. I am at the back of the store, stacking all the clothes tried on by the previous customers, in neat rows. I hurriedly smooth my hair and tuck them behind my ears. I head towards the store entrance and am met with a surprise.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, my tone full of disdain. I didn't mean to sound this way but I was caught off guard.

"Hello again!" He says, ever so polite! "Do you work here?"

I point at my employee card dangling in front of me. I think to myself 'What a silly question!' and chuckle lightly.

"So Poem, I take you're still angry at our small encounter at the food court?"

"You were being unnecessarily nosy. And did you follow me here just to annoy me more?"

"I didn't follow you, you know that!" He says with a mischievous smile and a twinkle in his eyes.

Just then it hit me. He is very cute indeed. Which also explains his cocky attitude. His soft blond hair fall lightly on his forehead and his smile looks radiant.

I shrug the thoughts away. "Buy whatever you want and be on your way. I have a lot of work to do." I sigh looking at all the clothes turned over and dumped at the back of the store. Milo was friendly but not very efficient. I was practically doing the work of two people alone.

"I can help you if you want." His tilts his head and looks at the huge mound of clothes.

I am a but taken aback. Maybe he really is polite and I am being very rude to him unnecessarily. "Oh no! Please don't. I will manage. I cannot take a customer's help. Moreover, my new manager will be here any moment and it will make a very bad first impression." I ramble on.

"I think it is quite late for first impressions now." He laughs lightly.

What a confusing guy. I have trouble understanding what he means half the time we have talked. And seeing that we have spoken just twice, that is even worse. I was better with people-dealing. What happened to me?

Jimin waves his hand in front of me interrupting my internal monologue. "Tell me do you need help?"

"No no, I am fine. Please help yourself to the merchandise and call me if you need anything." I put on my best customer-friendly saleslady smile.

"Okay then. I will sit at the counter. You can carry on." Jimin says with a grin.

"You can't sit there. That is for employees only especially for the store manager. If you want to sit, you can use the sofa for the cust-"

Just then Jimin flashes a small employee card to my face. I choke on mid sentence. This is officially the worst day ever.

Park Jimin is my new manager and I have a feeling things won't go well between the two of us.

Jimin winks and gives a mischievous smile.
