WHEN YOU LOOK AT ME

THINGS CHANGE

Gulf was in his room having a beer and was in his deep thoughts..

"Why did you say that you will think about it.. why... like really I dont want to be involved with mew then why can't I say no to him.. just why cant I stop thinking of him... why can't stop him... why my heart raced when he is near me..... why can't I give him a chance????....."

For the next few days gulf totally avoided mew... he would go to university early.. he would come late and spend time in library he was not yet ready to give a reply to mew... anytime if accidentally mew met gulf ... gulf would formally nod and  would leave immediately....

This continued for a week...

Gulf was coming back from the university and was late around 11pm .. gulf was tired a sleepy
His building was just a cross over away...

He was crossing the lane when it showed green.. suddenly a bike with a hell of speed rode towards gulf.. gulf turned to see as the sound of the bike was loud...
Gulf raised his hand to cover his eyes as the light from the bike was making him blurry...
When he realized that he was stunned and stood... at the middle of the cross over....

At that moment everything was froze and was a dead slow moment...

A hand came out to grab gulf and pulled him to the other side and instead that helping hand was hit by the bike....

Every thing happens in slow motion.. gulf fell the other side and the person to the other and the bike skit in the middle to stop far away from them....

Gulf breathed heavily... he was not aware what the hell happened... gaining some strength he stood up ... the person who rode the bike was far away and unconscious... and the person who helped gulf was few steps away...

Gulf was dizzy and blurry but he managed to walk to that person...

Gulf saw that the person was lying on his stomach and was unconcious as he was not moving... slowly walking towards him.. gulf kneeled down..  to shake him...

"Hello.... excuse me....are you ok...."

Gulf was shaking him..  but no response.. as it was night the the road was silent.. and not many people where there...

Gulf with all his strength turned over the person...
Gulf was shocked jaw dropped..eyes widen... and couldn't move..
He saw Mew...

Mew was bleeding from his temple... his elbow was scratched out.. and his knees were bleeding...

"Me...m...mm...mew...."
Gulf voice was shaky ... tears were falling down from his eyes...
Gulf held mew and he bought his hands to place it on mews cheeks.. 
Gulf strikes mew's cheeks gently....

"Mmm...mew... mew....
Wake up..."
Gulf was just crying..  he was not abel to speak a word.. he have been to this situation before when his parents died...

"Mew... wake up.. please..." now gulf was hell crying.. he was not in any kind of mind set.. he just wanted mew to wake up...

At that time people near gathered around and called the ambulance...
Gulf was holding mew in his arms..  crying and telling him to wake up...

After few minutes ambulance came.. and the medical staff gathered near gulf.. 
Gulf was in no state to say anything.. he just moved aside.. and they lifted mew to lay him on stecher... and placed him inside...

Gulf went to one of the staff and said..
"Can I come with you...??"

"Do you know this guy???"

"Yes.. and I was in this accident too"

"Ok... then "

Gulf sat in the ambulance and sat beside mew..
Gulf was holding mew's hand and was just watching him being unconscious...
Gulf was crying..
Gulf was them cleaning mew's injuries and checking in heart rate and placing saline..

Within few minutes they reached the hospital and mew was taken to the emergency ward...
Gulf was stopped at a point and was told to wait until they check mew completely...

Gulf sat on the chair outside.... his whole body was trembling like hell.. he was scared .. hell scared...
He was breathing heavily...
An hour ago everything was right he was living a normal life.. and now he is a hospital waiting for the man who confessed to him and wanted to know him...

When gulf calmed down a bit..
He saw his hands.. it was shaking with the blood on it... tears falling down gulf realized and saw his white shirt turning half red...

He was in a shock... he started to think about things...

"Why mew was there... why did he pushed me and saved me..
We barely know each other we had no connection before nor we were friends..
Why would he risk his own life for a guy who he knew a only few days ago... WHY????"

WHY????

This why crumbled his thoughts... and it was getting hell for type..
A nurse came to gulf

"You should get the first aid I can see you have injuries... we can clean it up so that no infections will be spread "

Gulf had no intention to move from that place until he heared any words about mew from the doctor..

"No thanks I am completely fine"

"But you should.. please listen to me..."

Gulf got angry...
"I said once I will not come until any news from that room comes.. so please leave me alone..."
He shouted out loud.. making the nurse feel embarrassed...

Gulf realized he shouldn't have done that..
" I am sorry.. it's just that I am frustrated.. I will definitely get a first aid.. but please let me hear some news from the doctors about him..."

The nurse noded and left...
Gulf returned to the same position he was in..

After 15 min the doctors came out..
Gulf immediately stood up and went to them..

"How is he doctor.. is he alright
Anything major... "

Sentence hung when doctor said gulf to calm down first

"May I know who are to this person???"

"I am his friend.. we live in the same building "

"And your name.."

"Gulf...gulf kanawut.."

"So Mr. KANAWUT your friend had many injuries he got fractured on his left leg and he had blood loss and many muscles have been damaged.. so you have to take care of him very well ..
It will take 3 months to heal the fracture and 6 weeks for the muscles.. and he needs a complete bed rest and no work and no stress ...
Beside this we have taken the x ray as he hurt his head... so when he waked up and have an headache or any head pains you should report us... please take a good care of him... "

The doctor patted gulf shoulders and left..

Gulf listened to him carefully...
Gulf was now feeling guilty and was blaming himself for everything...

The receptionist came to gulf and said
"Excuse  me can you come with me for paper works..."

Gulf completed all the paper works.. he gave his number for any further information about mew's health

"Your friend will be shifted to general ward tomorrow and will be hospitalized for 1 week and after that full complete bed rest and after 3 months physiotherapy sessions...
These instructions are given by the doctors "

Gulf noded and signed all the papers .

"I think you should get the first aid now.. because  infection may increase "
Gulf noded to the nurse and went to the room to get the first aid...
