Chapter 3

I had to work a morning shift, I was heading to the door when I see my mom heading out too "mom where are you going?" I ask her confuse. "I'm just heading to the store, I need to pick up some things" she said, "oh okay, Well I'll see you later, love you" "love you too" she said back.

Ana POV

I waited for Rose to be far away so I can go, I feel awful lying to her, but ever since I got that phone call from Frank, I'm scared she's find out the truth. I had ask frank to meet somewhere far away from her job, if she sees me, she's know somethings wrong. I made it to a different coffee shop to meet Frank, I walk in to my surprise there's no one but us as I look around "i ask the own if I could have a private meeting, hope that's okay? Frank said.
"It's okay" "it's been long Ana, good to see you" he said with a smile. "It has been, what's this about Frank?" I looked at him, he sighs as if he knows "you know what's this about" I tried to hold my tears "I don't actually" i said "I know Rose is daughter of Joe, isn't she Anastasia?" I looked at him and nodded "how old is she?" "24" "did Joe knew you were pregnant?" I sigh "no, I never told anyone. 2 weeks after we broke up, I find out I was pregnant."

"You kept it a secret from everyone" Frank said

"If i were to tell him, then everyone will know, the media, your family. It's bad enough Erin doesn't like me. So yes I kept it a secret for the sake of my baby" I defended myself

"Does she know who her father is?" Frank ask calmly. "No, she has no idea and she'll never know. She won't forgive me" I said

"Anastasia, she'll find the truth, some how? It's better to tell her the truth, before she does." He said "if she knew she will hate me" I wiped my tear away. "Why don't we tell her together" he says holding her hands "you would do that?" I said. "Of course, she is my granddaughter, and I know Joe would've want me to meet her" he added. "I miss him" she said "me too" We agreed to tell her, Frank was going to break the news to his family.

After meeting up with him, I went to the store so rose can think I went shopping. Or less she won't believe me, after I did my shopping I went home to cook dinner.

Reagan's house

Frank called the family in, they all sat down. "Dad what's going on?" Erin spoke up. "Before I start, I want to say that I just find this out, so do you guys remember Anastasia Farley?" Frank asked his kids. Danny and Erin glances at each other. "Yea, what about her" Danny says "about a few nights ago, her daughter was arrested for assaulting a police officer, when she left the station, I ran into her, when I saw her, she looked familiar so I did some digging, Turns out she's the daughter of Joe, Anastasia confirms it" everyone got quite, shared looks at each other "what there's no way, she's lying!" Erin shout "she's not Erin" Frank gave her the file. Erin looks though it "Rosalie Mary Farley, she gave her moms name?!" She shout "let me see that" Jamie said as he looks though the file he notices something "hey, I recognize her, she works at some coffee shop, wow she has Joes eyes" he said.

"Francis, are you sure she's not lying to you" Henry spoke up "I tested her DNA to joes its a match pops, and she knew Joe would want to put Mary as her middle name" Frank says "why didn't she say something to us, she kept this from us?!" Danny shouts "she find out she was pregnant after they broke up, she never told anyone, she was afraid of it going public, so she kept it a secret" "does this Rosalie know her father is" Danny asked "no, Ana never told her. She fears that once she finds out she'll hate her" "I still can't believe this, even with Joe died she still manage to hurt this family, I bet she wants money" Erin added "Erin you know she never hurt this family, you just didn't like her. Yes she kept one thing from us, but Rosalie is innocent in all of this, I'm not expecting you guys to like them but to know who she is." He said looking at everyone.

"Do you want to get to know her grandpa?" His oldest granddaughter Nicky spoke up, "well, that's her decision to make"

Everyone sat quietly as the process everything frank told them, Erin gets up "this is too much to handle, let's go Nicky. I'll tomorrow dad" she said. One by one left leave frank and Henry alone. Henry looks at Rose's file, "Jamie's right, she has Joe's eyes. She even has Mary's smile" he says. "You think it was a mistake telling them about her?" Henry looks at his son "one way of other, the truth was eventually going to come out, we have other Reagan in the family" he chuckles. Frank smiles.

The next day Anastasia got a phone call early that morning "hello" "Anastasia, it's Frank I told him family about Rosalie, I think we should Rosalie soon before my kids go looking for her" "okay, is today good, Rosalie is off from work?" "Sounds good, ill send you the address where to meet." "Okay Frank, thanks" I hold up, I got ready for the day. I see Rosalie getting ready "Sweetie, I need you to come with me today, it's important" her daughter looked at her confuse "mom is something wrong?" "No honey, just please come with me, and whatever happens I love you." She said hugging her daughter.

Rosalie pov
"Mom you're starting to freak me out?" I said pulling away from her

"I'm sorry but it's important" she said, around the afternoon me and mom went to whatever she was taking me, we made it to a really nice restaurant, we walked in, the waiter took us to a private area, when I see the police commissioner. "Mom what's going on?" I looked at her super lost, why are we meeting the commissioner? "Anastasia, please sit" he said we took a sit. My mom turned to me with a sad look "what I'm about to tell you, meant upset you. But you have to understand that I never meant to hurt you Rosalie, I did it you your on good" she said, I looked at her more confused then I am now "mom your scaring me" that when the Commissioner spoke up and place a picture of a police officer on the table.

"This is my son Joe Reagan, he's no longer with us. About 23 years ago your mother and my son were in a romantic relationship. My son loved your mother so much" i interrupted him "okay, what does this have to do with me?" I said "I soon broke up with him, about 2 weeks past I found out I was pregnant, with you Rosalie" my mom said with tears in her eyes. I looked at her then frank, then at the picture of the officer "you knew this whole time, who was my father?" I said with a cold tune "Baby I'm sor-" as she grabs my hand "DON'T TOUCH ME! How could you find this from me! How could you not tell me! I need to get out of here" I grabbed my things "Rose please I'm sorry, I did it for your own good!" My mom yelled as I walk away.
