ASHER

"I DON'T EVEN KNOW how to explain it." She said.

I glimpsed at her. What does she mean she can't explain it. First, she made my mind go insane thinking about our dreams and now she's telling me that this is a one-sided story? If it really is, then who am I talking to? Why does she telling me that this is one-sided? Is she sure about this? Why, why, why?

"I don't get it," I replied, "You confirmed that you are a real person. You did also confirm that you can't remember anything - not giving me a specific reason why. And told me that we met at the party - more on a confirmation. Now, you're telling me that this is just a one-sided story? Who are you?"

"Fate." It didn't take her long answering my questions, "Probably."

I didn't break my gaze on her. What does she mean fate? Oh my God, this is driving me crazy.

"Trust me it's still me." She declared, "But, I want you to give you a clue."

A clue?

"Remember the time where you went to the bar because of your breakup with your previous girlfriend."

"Hey, Emily!" Johnny greeted the girl in front of us who is wearing a casual yellow dress with a yellow hankie tied around her head. She smiled when she saw us - them. She smirked when her gaze went mine.

"Hey, I'm glad you guys made it!" She stares at me, "Hey Ashy, I know you don't like parties but I know you will go here to see me."

I pressed my lips, preventing myself not to gag. I did not come here to see her. What makes her ego become bigger?

"Don't call me Ashy," I responded.

She rolled her eyes, but her smile, annoying one, lasts on her lips. "Don't be, I know you like it." She looked at me and scanned my body with her eyes, "Perhaps, you like me more, aren't you?"

I bowed my head, making my eyes rolled and still preventing myself not to gag. Even though it's kinda obvious. I saw my friend's girlfriend bowed her head, trying not to laugh, while my friend pressed his lips and turned his head away.

"Oh wait, it's them!" Johnny broke the atmosphere pointing out the crowd making our gaze went there. There are two boys and a girl coming from our way.

"Hey!" Kenzie waved her head to them and coming towards them opening her arms and wrapped around the girl's waist. "It was nice seeing you guys again!"

I have no idea who are they talking to. Probably these are the people they met yesterday. I feel so out of place watching them and hugging each other.

I realized that I'm not just here. This girl is still beside me - not breaking her gaze at mine - making me more, or extremely uncomfortable. I could feel she's a creep. I mean, I'm trying not to blurt these words out and trying not to think about it but she's making it hard.
