"Leo!!" Happy to see your friend you jump up and hug him tightly. He chuckles and repeats the gesture. shortly afterwards you let go of him and look at him.
"It's good to see you Leo."
"It's good to see you too (y/N). And without open wounds." He points to your hands and you remember your last encounter together.
"It has been two months... those kind of injuries heal fast. But... how are you?" With a slight concern you look at the turtle.
"Everything is now okay (y/N). Thanks to the teacher I had, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. And... and I'm sorry that I hurt you."
"It's okay Leo. I'm glad you're finally back to your old self."
"It's good to hear that. But now to the more important stuff. Have you hear anything about my brothers or Master Splinter?" The happiness that was just in his voice had vanished and replaced with concern and a slight hint of sadness. You avert your eyes and shake your head.
"No, nothing at all. I got in contact with April but she.."
"I know, I already talked with her." Leonardo walked over to the edge of the roof, glancing over the city before turning back to you.
"(y/N) I need to find the others. I don't believe they are dead. Do you by any chance know what happened after the lair was attacked?" You looked at Leonardo while thinking. Scraching your head, you gave him the only clue you had.
"I think I head something about Donnie and Master Splinter going down in the river... Although I'm not quite sure if it's a true rumor.."
"Well it's better than nothing for me. Thanks (y/N)." Leonardo thanked you and it seemed like he was about to leave.
"Wait, Leo!" You got up and looked at him. "Let me help you find your family." The male shook his head.
"No, I'm not putting you or anyone else in danger..."
"Leo, shut up for one minute and listen to me for a second okay?!" He closed his mouth after your interfearence and waited for you to finish.
"I know I won't be much of a help, but I do want to find the others as well."
"(y/N), No. With the foot out there looking for me I'm not gonna risk anything." Leonardo shook his head, but then saw you crossing your arms, glaring at him. He knew you that good to know you weren't gonna back down on this now. Goaning, he gave up even arguing with you; There was no time for this.
"Okay, okay. You can come with me and help. But" Leo came back up to you, sternly giving you a strict look. "you will do whatever I tell you to do. Got it?" Stating that he crossed his arms and waited for your answer.
"Sure. I'll listen to whatever you say."
"So if I ask you to wait for me while I look around you will wait?"
"Yes."
"Also if I tell you to run home and don't look for me anymore?"
"...."
"(y/N)?"
"...Okay... I'll even do that."
Satsfied with your answer Leo nodded and gave you a smile.
"But I hope that doesn't happen." The turtle lauged.
"Me too (y/N). Now come on." he held out his hand, gesturing you to take it. "We need to find the others."
With a big smile on your face you took his hand and the two of you rushed in the direction of the river.
