Kurosuki's P.O.V

I didn't run far before I heard the sound of an engine behind me.

I turned around to see Komuro on the motorcycle, he stopped next to me, allowing me to get on.

"So Kota told you as well?" I asked.

"Yeah, he did. He's going to cover us with his sniper rifle whilst we get her."

"Good, let's go."

Komuro drove us around the corner and knocked over several of them.

He drove into the driveway, tripping over a dead body and flipping the motorcycle.

I jumped off before it crashed, so I was fine.

"Komuro! Pull yourself together! They're coming!" I yelled as I fired off a shot into one of Their heads.

I pulled the arrow back out and tucked it back into my quiver.

I drew my pistols and fired until they were empty, downing 14 more.

I didn't have time to reload, so I holstered my pistols again and drew my sword.

Now that I think about it, I have a lot of weapons.

I repeatedly sliced through or caved in the skulls of the living dead, clearing a path for us.

"Komuro! Get the girl, we need to leave!" I yelled.

They were paying their final respects to a dead man, whom I can only assume was the girl's father.

Komuro carried the girl and the dog, who had drawn Them to our position.

"Get out of here! I'll hold them back!" I yelled at Komuro, who reluctantly got up on the wall and walked off.

I kept slashing and bashing, I was nearly bitten several times, but Kota had me covered.

Ever heard of the term 'slice and dice'?

Well, new term: 'slash and bash', pretty accurate, considering my style.

I was slowly getting overwhelmed, but the humvee crashed through the mass of the living dead, drawing them to it.

I took this chance to launch myself off of one of Their heads, scrambling up the wall, I leapt onto the humvee.

"Go go go!" I yelled at Mrs Shizuka.

She drove off and we smashed through the horde.

When we arrived back at the house, we loaded the humvee with ammo, clothes and food.

I took that chance to reload my guns and my crossbow.

When we left, I decided to modify my crossbow again.

We had the necessary materials, so I decided to do it, fashioning two magazines and a bolt for my crossbow so it's easier to reload and I wouldn't be out after one shot.

I filled the magazines with bolts, and found that each magazine could hold five bolts, I kept the rest of the bolts in the quiver, which I placed back in my gym bag.

We stopped by a river, and Mrs Shizuka, being a crazy bitch, decided to drive the humvee into the frickin water.

I was shocked.

Then again, I modified my crossbow into a bolt-action crossbow, so I can't judge.

Well, at least the girl, whose name is apparently Arisu, was enjoying it.

I, on the other hand, am lying in the back, questioning life.

Kota and Arisu were singing.

Excellent news.

Keep in mind that I was being sarcastic there.

It's not that I don't like the kid, it's just that I don't get why we saved her.

I don't get why I moved before I realized what was happening.

I spent so long trying to suppress my emotions, are they coming back just like that?

A kid is only going to be burden to our survival.

Although...

Actually, she might be useful.

Carrying small but important items.

Like extra ammo or first aid kits.

She also seems to be able to command the dog.

She could command the dog to bark somewhere away from our position.

Luring Them away.

Obviously, this wouldn't work if we're in the humvee, but then we'd just run them over or gun them down.

Okay, I see the survival value in Arisu now.

But I feel like I'd be called a monster if I expressed my thoughts about Arisu out loud.

Hey, not my fault that I'm a sadist.

Well, me and my sister both, but she's denying it like it isn't part of her blood.

Me? I embrace it.

Well, we got our sadistic sides from different bloodlines. After all, I was adopted.

I listened to Kota singing Row Your Boat but a more murderous version.

I liked it.

Saya didn't, though, and smacked him, nearly sending him into the water.

I laughed at Kota's misfortune.

When we finally got to the other end, I volunteered to scout the nearby area with Komuro and Kota whilst the girls got changed.

I pulled out my crossbow, loaded it, and forged ahead, Komuro and Kota following suit, even though Kota really wanted to peak at the girls.

I walked up the hill, checking the buildings ahead whilst Komuro and Kota checked the sides.

"Clear!" I called down to them, not loud enough to attract Them, but loud enough for the girls to hear.

We couldn't see them, but I imagine they heard it.

However, just to make sure, I ran down the hill and told them.

"Coast's clear, no sign of any of Them."

"Good, we're done anyways. Let's go." Saya replied.

We all got back into the humvee and drove up the steep hill.

I was on the roof with Komuro and Rei, we held on to the front of the car as it climbed up the steep hill.

I was genuinely impressed that the military vehicle could achieve such a feat.

We then sped off on our way to our houses. We needed to make sure our parents were okay.

Well, Komuro, Rei and Saya did.

Arisu's parents are dead.

My parents are dead.

Nee-san's dad is overseas.

And Kota's parents are a mystery.

Suddenly, we came across a massive horde of Them.

"Run them over!" I yelled, drawing my pistols.

We slammed through the massive hordes of the living dead, at this point, it's pretty much a run-and-gun.

I shot Them as we drew close, but sadly, we got cornered.

A/N: Well. That took a while. Sorry to keep you guys waiting! 100 reads so far. Pretty nice, but I think we can do better. Anyways, I'll try to only focus on one story for now, but I don't think that's happening anytime soon.

As always, don't forget to vote, comment, and follow for more! Peace out, everybody, goodbye.
