背景故事 2 (UPDATED AGAIN)

Taeyong wasn't as privileged as the other kids he sees on the streets. They wear branded clothes and have a decent amount of food to eat and water to drink, whereas Taeyong can only have a meal in one week, maybe if he is lucky he can have it twice a week. Taeyong has an older sister, his dad, and his mom.

His sisters always told him, not to give up as she is going to bring him out of this family once she got enough money. Taeyong can be privileged too if his dad and mom went to find a job. They did before, but after it went bankrupt, they stopped. They thought the money they earned should be fine for his sister but they didn't expect they will get Taeyong.

They lived in an old two-story house, which consists of one good bedroom upstairs. Of course, their parents took it whereas his sister will either have to sleep in the living room. Or the storeroom if they get mad at her. Taeyong noticed what had happened when he was born. He saw how his parents started to neglect his sister. Even though they didn't have much, but they will always give Taeyong more than his sister. Sometimes, his sister will have nothing to eat. Taeyong will sometimes hide some in his shirt and gave it to his sister when they were both alone. They usually hide in a small storeroom they have in the house. Taeyong apologized every time this happens, but his sister will always smile at him, cupped his face and put their foreheads together, and rubbed it. She then will hug him and a pat his back saying,

"It's not your fault Taeyong-ah. Noona is okay with all this so don't worry too much okay? Let's get out of here together."

Taeyong was 6, whereas his sister, Lee Taeyeon was 12.

Soon, their money was starting to run out. Taeyong's father found his new interest in gambling and his mom only stays at home not doing anything. They may take care of Taeyong but it was his sister who did most of the parenting even though she cannot even take care of herself. Every time, their dad will come back home either drunk or bruised or angry. Angry because he keeps losing, drunk because the more angry he gets the more wine or beer he drinks. Bruised because he beats up people when he is drunk, not knowing others always outnumbers him. He sometimes to let out his anger towards Taeyong and his sister. But it's always his sister shielding him. Their mom couldn't do anything, she didn't want to get to involve in it, to be honest.

Since both of their parents are not doing anything, Taeyong and his sister can only go out to beg for money. Taeyeon couldn't work yet because she is still underage, the same goes for Taeyong. They will go out early in the morning where their parents are still sleeping and sit by some shops. There some kind people who took pity on them gave them money, there are also rude shop owners who shoo them away. But even though it's hard, they still had fun running away from the shop owners. Taeyong looks up at his sister. She is his sister but at the same time like his mother. He loves her as much as she loves him.

Taeyong was 7, Taeyeon was 13.

But then, them going out for begging, made their parents know. That day, both Taeyeon and Taeyong received a very harsh beating from their father. Whereas their mother is trying to look around to see where they have hidden the money. But to her disappointment, she didn't find it which pisses their dad more. He keeps whipping Taeyeon. Taeyong can only cry while screaming for his dad to stop hitting his sister.
