~ Chapter 8 ~ no letters?

~The day before~

mikan had to give a letter to narumi-sensei before class. She came back into class a few minutes later.

~The next morning~

~Satomi's P.O.V~

It was breakfast time and mother bot was handing out our mail. She started to call out the names. "Takagi,hayashi,imai,shun." i went up with Hotaru. Mikan was upset about her grandpa not sending a letter back to her. Mother bot said she had no mail for her. 'I feel bad for her that she can't have her mail sent.' i think. I had already asked jewl about that. She expalined what this school does and about 'marking people.' i was allowed to send mail because my parents are royalty and the school wants to keep a good reputation. Jewl is a physic, so she told me what happend in the past with the school. She was  also the one who told me about the school wanting a good reputation with the government and royalty.

~Time Skip~

After the first class prez walks up to mikan trying to cheer her up. Mikan strangled him in frustaration. "Why won't grandpa send me mail. I miss him." "if you are really that worried i know a way to see how he is doing." prez says. "Really how?" mikan asks letting him go. Prez looks towards otonashi. "Otonashi has divianation alice. People say her fortunes are really accurate." prez explains. They start to walk up to her. "Otonashi-san? Can you use your alice to see how grandpa is doing?" mikan asks with her hands together like she is praying. "Dance is vigor of one's soul. An oracle must feel one's soul in order for the divianation to work. That is essential." she said.Three people came in with instruments. She started to do some stupid dance that is a waste of time. She talked about him not receiving letters from mikan. They projected the scene. 'well at least she knows the truth about this school.' i think darkly. Natsume had a speech about not trusting the staff and teachers. While he was speaking I left the room. I went to play piano for a while. The subsitute didn't care if anyone left anyway. I got music books from my parents in the mail today. They also gave me a note saying they miss me and want me to practice my skills. They got permission to buy a sword from central town. Only high schoolers can buy weapons. We haven't gone to central town yet so i will get one when i go. I noticed mikan passing by the room. A few minutes later ruka,prez,and hotaru ran past. 'Probably went to get mikan out of trouble.' i think. I decided to follow them. I summoned jewl. "Whats going to happen?" i ask jewl. "She is going to figure out that narumi isn't sending the mail." she said and started to go on but i tuned her out.i felt like someone was watching me.  Jewl went back to her demon world. The bell rang signalling that it was lunch time. Jinno could be heard screaming to mikan about her punishment for ditrubing the staff room. Mikan was locked in her room for the night without food. I decided to help hotaru amd prez get in. In the end ruka got in the room after they went to bed. I heard the whole conversation about mikan wanting to escape and see her grandpa. I saw ruka's eagle flying mikan to the gate. I then fell asleep. The next morning i heard the rest of what happened from the class.
