Morgan's POV

i stared at the message Corey sent me the whole car ride to my dads safe house. i've never been there but my mom said i didn't need to worry about and that i'd never end up going their anyway so its unimportant.  the message scared me so much because off the fact that i now know he watching! 

From Corey

why are you making out with other guys babe?

"Morgan are you okay"? my mom asked

"yeah...." i said. i didn't want to tell my mom because she would probably make me throw my phone out of the window or into a sewer! my mom can be quit crazy sometimes ! i decided not to respond and just try to play it off but my moms motherly instincts kicked in and she knew there was something wrong.

"Morgan" my mother said. i flinched at the sound of my name because my mother was using the same tone as Corey when he hit me for the first time and he felt so lost but he became aware that i would never leave him so it became a habit!

"yeah"? i said

"whats wrong" asked said sounding worried.

"nothing just a bit tired" i said trying to sound convincing and i guess it worked because my mom didn't think much of it.

"get some rest hun ill wake you when we get there" she said

"okay" i snuggled closer to the seat trying to fall asleep but i couldn't because i wasn't tired at all. i was scared and all i wanted was max but some part of my heart was focused on Corey i wanted him in some way. i shook off the thought as i felt my eyes starting to get heavy and i soon drifted off to sleep.

"Morgan wake up" my mom said

"huh" i mumbled ughhh i had the worst dream ever.

" were here" she smiled slightly knowing she would have to explain why we had to move away.

we  got our stuff from the car and walked inside quickly i felt eyes burning into my back but there's no way anyone was around here i mean look at this place in looked like we were stranded in the middle of no where. i shrugged off the thought and went inside it was beautiful but so secretive like. the windows were tinted the lights were low to the point were if they were any lower they would be off,the was no chimney which was weird for my family because my mother would refuse to live in house without one she loves to sit by the fire and tell me stories about when i was younger and just amazing things.

"mom I'm hungry" i said

"me to lets go make something and get comfy but i have to go upstairs and wash upstairs ill be down soon go decide what we should have" my mom smiled and walked up the stairs. i walked into the kitchen but i couldn't find the light i walked around the corner and found it but i saw something. a dark figure i walked backward but fell backward. the light switched on and i saw the person i wasn't scared just shocked ! my mother ran in and saw who i was looking at and her face changed from concern to disgust

"what are you doing here" she said . he came closer and mother was furious she pulled out a gun and i was scared !

"come any closer and ill shoot" she yelled she would do anything to keep me away from him for so many years but i still cared about him ! "mom don't do it " i yelled "why Morgan he wasn't there for the hard times you went through i knew what he was doing to you but you would always deny it why are you defending him"? she yelled "because i .. i love him!"

IM SORRY for not updating for like 3 days ! its just i coudnt focus with ever thing going on ! soo ill get back on track btw i didnt do error check im a bit tired soooo just let me know or not.........
