Diary: Naga Brothers X Depressed Lamia Reader

The truth

Reader's POV

I stayed at the palace for a month. I helped Kiara with her duties and she taught me how to become great queen. I decided it was time to tell everyone about my past. I decided to summon everyone at the 'square'.

~Time Skip~

The 'square' was crowded with lamias and nagas, and I was surprised to see the fortune teller as well.

'I have suffered for a very long time, carrying this heavy burden on my shoulders, now I thought it was time I released this burden and let peace thrive in this kingdom. I can't let mates fight over each other and I would be blamed for killing the alpha because of selfishness. Today, I decided to speak with my mouth.' I thought.

I took a deep breath and said,

"Greetings alpha, princes, princess, great fortune teller, council and all nagas and lamias. I am (Y/N) (L/N), the daughter of late Mr. (L/N) and Mrs (L/N), the one that everyone calls 'the reserved lamia' and one who was wrongly banished by the alpha and the council long ago, which I wasn't given a chance to speak and lead to the curse we have today." I took a deep breath and continued,

"As you all know, I speak telepathically to everyone and I decided to be mute by choice. Today, I decided to speak with my lips. I was depressed for so long after the rumour that everyone wrongly told that I was one who killed my parents but NO!" I started to cry, "I didn't kill them. The humans did. The hunters that come here for food killed my parents and escaped. When you found me near them you thought I killed them. You know what's worse? When you said that I killed them just for inheritance and I will pass down my blood full of wickedness." I wiped my tears, "Since then I went through depression, I constantly stayed in my den crying, sulking and angry while those hurtful words replay in my head like a broken record. I hated all of you for this, I didn't want to see your faces or hear your voices. I was alone and left in the dark. You are lucky that I don't seek revenge like killing everyone in the village or the alpha, I just shut myself away from the world."

After I told them my story, I saw everyone's tearful eyes, some cried while other held their tears in. The fortune teller came forward and said,

"Now you all know her story." He turned to face me, "Do you forgive the alpha and everyone else for their past action?"

I didn't respond. I look at everyone and the alpha with his children, begging me to forgive them. It took me a while to absorb everything that happened the past month. I took a deep and said,

"... I forgive everyone."

Everyone cheered at the announcement I made and the alpha was delighted. The alpha summoned me before him, pulled me close to him and whispered into my ears saying,

"Thank you for your forgiveness. I know you will be a great queen for the people and I give you my blessings as becoming queen and wife to sons. You will be a great mother to your children and now I can peacefully rest, knowing that peace is upon this kingdom once more..." those were the last words before he closed his eyes and never opened them again.

After the funeral of the late alpha, peace thrived within the kingdom, mates were no longer arguing, Kiara found a mate, the twins became alphas while I became queen. I was open to everyone and loved the kingdom. A few months later, I gave birth to quadteplets (2 sets of twins). One set are identical to each and have all the feather of third fathers while another set are identical but they have all my features.
