The lights flickered slowly in the forever darkening abyss ,
as the coffin lid , opened with a long drawn out creak.
The woman inside sat up with a jerk as a blast of ice cold
air was aroused from the darkness. Caroline 'bluebird' McCarthy
opened her slashed and jagged mouth , only to produce a
blood curdling shriek of terror. Her scream was loud enough
to wake the dead. A metallic honing noise and a steady clomp of
boots were heard nearby. Someone , ever so slowly it seemed ,
was creeping towards her. She started to crawl out of the oak coffin , but was
halted abruptly as the door opened , producing a light so strong
her eyes started to water. The footsteps came closer and closer until
a mangled , badly scarred and purple face , grasping a dagger in his
right hand, glowered maliciously down at her.
'Tick . Tock . Little Bluebird . Your . Time . Is . Up !'
