My time here is almost done . I'm only supposed to spend a week and a half with Dasani even though I don't go back to school for a few months. My family comes first and I really have to spend time with my sister before I leave her. You know the whole Dasani's ex girlfriend going to the same collage as her. Didn't sit right with me. I thought she was gone tell me but she didn't so I'mma have to bring it up and I hope there's no argument. She was in the bathroom getting ready and I walked in. I remembered not to get an attitude because Dasani will definitely pop off.

" What do you wanna do today we can go zip lining?!"

"Ouu yeah that sounds fun"

" You okay though?"

"I have a question and you can't get mad"

"Ask me the question first"

" why didn't you tell me that rain goes here? Did she come here for you?"

" Aiyana I didn't think it was that big of deal and I don't know I'm not focused on her right now"

"It is a big deal. She's part of the reason why we couldn't be together. Dasani she's hella pretty and-"

"False. But I'll figure it out . I hate how that nigga made you so insecure Aiyana. Stop comparing yourself to everyone in my eyes your beautiful. Leave it alone."

" I'm sorry, thank you bae"

She gave me a quick kiss and finished her hair.

Omg look at us improving already. Period.

A few hours past and Dasani took me to this zip line place. This girl didn't tell me WE WAS FINNA BE ZIP LINING OVER WATER. Oh hell nah. We were putting on gear on and I was getting nervous.

" baby can we go together"

" We can't"

" I'm scaredd"

" Awwww you'll be okay, I'm gonna wait for you at the end"

She kissed my hand and we went up the stairs. They connected Dasani's harness to wire and she went zooming. The zip line was so long that I don't even know where it ends. It was finally my turn and honestly it wasn't even that bad like I kinda enjoyed it. Once I got to the end Dasani was there like she said she would be.

"See it wasn't so bad "

" Yeah but if I didn't like it would've murder you"

" oh so you would rather have a dead girlfriend?"

" Yeah your problem less annoying when your dead"

She slapped my ass and I giggled.

One of the workers turned around and stared at me and dasani. He gave us a disgusted look. Look if I have to fight the elderly I sure as hell will.

" Is there a problem sir?"

"That's not appropriate my 6 year old daughter doesn't need to be seeing that kinda stuff"

His daughter who I didn't even know she there. Stood there standing behind him.

" Well I'm sorry that's my fault I didn't know she was there"

"Nah baby don't apologize. We can do whatever the fuck we want"

"And you have the nerve to cuss. Wow. This new generation is unbelievable. Just a disgrace."

"It's 2020. You old people need to accept the fact being straight isn't the only sexuality. I'm not gonna apologize for anything. Your daughter should be educated. We weren't even doing anything. You look a little too old to be having a six year old anyway. But that's not my business. Have a good fucking day"

Aiyana yanked my hand and we started to leave.
Dasani was so pissed in the Uber I can't believe that old mf made her that mad. Once we got home dasani disappeared for a good like 10 minutes. I finally found her outside smoking on the patio.

"You okay?, why you outside?"

"I'm good. I just don't want the apartment smelling like weed"

"Bae why you let that old man bother you?"

" He's not bothering me. I told you I was good love"

I'm glad she has this swinging chair out here . I sat down next to her and watched a she blew smoke into the air.

"I don't wanna go back home"

"Then stay here with me. School don't start for a little minute"

" I really have to spend this summer with Gabbi. She needs me sani"

" Yeah but I need you too. What am I supposed to do when your gone?"

" Just practice being without me. So when the time comes for us to actually be separated. You can be more prepared"

"'We've never been separated for that long. Especially with us being on good terms"

" I'm gonna visit you in the summer I promise. I'm not gonna leave you by yourself. "

"Okay fine. What do you see our future like though"

" Hmmm. I see us having good times and sat times. I see us graduating and getting into our careers. I see us moving in together. I see us getting married and hav-"

" Woahhhh Aiyana damn I didn't mean the future future. But you really wanna be my wife?"

" Yeah. Of course if I could I would marry you right now."

Her eyes widened.

"Wait you wouldn't marry me right now?"

" Well yeah but no"

I popped her in the head.

"The hell?! Whatchu mean?"

" Owww. I mean like duhhh I would marry you. But it probably wouldn't work out. We're still not all the way there yet"

" Okay okay you have point but damn that hurt my feelings a little. I really want this to work."

" It will. If you just trust me. I know it's gonna take you time"

" yes it will but I'm working on it."

" I can't wait to tell our kids all the shit you but me through"
